I watched the movie Whiplash(great film btw) and was particularly enamored by J.K Simmons' violent and near psychopathic performance as Fletcher. I would get anxious whenever he was on screen, waiting for him to snap.
Fast forward to a few months later, I started watching Legend of Korra and could not believe that Tenzin, the mild-mannered, patient airbending master and loving father was also played by Simmons. Whenever he was training Korra, I just kept expecting him to snap and shout "Were you rushing or where you dragging?".
