Foreign films that got you hooked.

When I was in my freshman year of college ( Oregon 1986), a bunch of my friends rented a VHS player and gathered to watch a movie called “Manon of the Spring.” I didn’t know what a profound affect it would have on me. Please share what movie/s got you hooked and made you want to watch more foreign films?
