Does an objectively funny movie exist?

Is there such a thing as an objectively funny movie? Humour varies so much between cultures, let alone regions in one country. Is Blazing Saddles funny in Russia and Brazil? I found Bridesmaids hilarious, as a male, but there may be other movies geared towards females that I won't find funny. Perhaps the silent Charlie Chaplin movies are the most we'll get to objectively funny, unless, of course, you don't like physical comedy.
