This movie is simply hilarious. Especially for the teen/college comedy genre, it is one of the absolute best. Now to be fair this movie isn't completely underrated, it is fairly popular and beloved by millenials. I feel like it has become a bit forgotten or seen as almost B tier. But for me its an S-tier 2000s comedy. Following up on the teen sex comedy of American Pie. Those years had some real comedy gems.
Especially now when good comedies are harder to come by, its good to revisit Road Trip and have some fun.
Also, its funny how its "outdated" in the way that the character Josh sends a video tape to his girlfriend accidently and has to go to her college to get it before its too late. Nowadays that situation would pretty much be impossible.
I'm giving Road Trip a 9/10 for still being absolutely hilarious in 2023,
