Due to a strange Reddit issue that no one wants to claim responsibility for - this sub has had a problem with low-score text-posts being pushed on user frontpages. Since a fix is no where in sight, we now have me, SirRobotDeNiro - a bot who will move low-scoring text posts to another subreddit

If you make a text post, and you don't seem to get a good response - check out /r/Movies_SecondChance. After a certain amount of time, all negatively received text-posts in /r/movies will be removed from /r/movies and copied/pasted into its own post in /r/Movies_SecondChance.

This is a way to keep /r/movies clean and still give life to some topics that might be of interest to some enthusiasts. So feel free to poke around in that sub, comment, etc - the OP is anonymous, since they're all being posted by this bot.

This is unprecedented, of course, so there's likely to be some kinks in the machine along the way to cleaning up the sub from all the weird nonsense you all have been seeing since mid-December.

Also yes, I will DM you if your post is removed (if you have the DM feature turned on, which is the case for most people)
