I mean, "death of the author" and all that, you're welcome to interpret the movie any way you'd like. But you can't build a convincing case by saying that the director must have intended foreshadowing when they explicitly said they didn't.

I remember when I was a kid Dom DeLuise and Burt Reynolds had a bunch of movies that always had blooper reels during the credits. Cannonball run and I think smokey and the bandit, it's a mad mad mad world?
They weren't exactly post credit scenes, but maybe the uncles to the ones who grew up to be post credit scenes.

It’s better than quite a few Tarantino films so it’s really not laughable at all

The Cannonball Run had outtakes/etc. in the end credits. That kept people around watching the credits.

Looks like his head is photoshopped on someone else’s body. I don’t know, the lighting looks off to me

Constantine (2005) has an after credits scene and I had no idea until a rewatch of the movie a few months back.

Me: Weird, this western movie reddit recommended is in the horror section and I don’t handle horror well at all. Oh well, I love me some gritty westerns!
So yeah, Bone Tomahawk was not for me and I should have known better.

This isn't entirely correct: the "preview" for History of the World: Part II plays before the credits actually begin.

The Matt Helm movies were James Bond parodies. There was nothing scary about the plot.

Dragged Across Concrete was good, but the fact that you’re comparing the writing to a Tarantino film is laughable.

Chamber of Secrets had one in 2002 as well

There’s not a single Tarantino film it’s better than, even Death Proof, lol.
If anything, a lot of his writing comes off as a slight knock off version of a Tarantino film. You seem to view Zahler much better than he actually is. He’s a good filmmaker, but that’s it. The only reason he gets mentioned so much on here cause of how violent his films are.
Dragged Across Concrete isn’t even his best movie, Bone Tomahawk is.
