That lady said things for the effect of it. Not only isn't it true 'out of the movie for us' but it wasn't true in the movie either. She was playing the part of the entertainer. She was asked a question with a boring answer, she made the answer melodramatic. Isn't her fault if some damned fool runs with it after the show.

He was a monster but a principled one.

He was really struggling with her presence the entire movie. She brought him joy in cooking - which is what he was punishing everyone else for.

That cheeseburger was the real deal. She's fine.

And it probably was the cheeseburger that reminded her of what it was like to eat her first cheeseburger.

Oh I know, I did mention that every installment has one, but felt unnecessary to describe every single one in detail. I decided last minute to throw in the Dead Men Tell No Tales one only because it's the first after-credit scene that seems to tease a new installment, so it seemed notably different to the rest.

Stranger Tides after-credit scene meanwhile is Angelica finding Jack's voodoo doll, but nothing really comes of that in the next installment. Therefore, this one is neither a reference/joke (like the dog worship one) nor a bit of extra continuity (like Jack's immortality or Elizabeth's and Will's child) nor teasing the next installment (like Dead Men Tell No Tales)

It's just a dangling plot thread that they didn't decide to do anything with

That's just not true, even from the source you linked. Canada Netflix has the 3rd most extensive library, with 2.66% fewer titles than US Netflix. Sure it's a little less, but it's far far far from "significantly less content"
