Hey do you like Terminator 2?
Guess what, the plot and structure of T2 is recycled from the first one almost beat for beat but bigger and better.
It even ends in a factory just like the first one.
That's how Cameron does sequels so successfully. He takes the same basic ingredients and makes them bigger and better with a little twist. Same with Aliens.

Yes, I love the end of this film. It is beautiful and heartbreaking the way the world has moved on and he doesn't fit back in but there is hope as he drives off to something new.

yea it was a simple decision on the spur of the moment, nothing mysterious to it. that, and probably the fact that it's under the broad day light. if he did that he'd definitely get nailed by the border guards in the nearby checkpoint.
but it wouldn't matter either way. you know what i mean.

That article was just fanfic. There was nothing on the "having an affair" end that the movie showed and the article mentioned.

Really nitpicky list of questions
Schultz shot Candie because Candie is an asshole. He is a sore winner and thinks he's better than everyone. He is a terrible human being. Shultz couldn't stand him being alive anymore so he shot him and didn't care about the consequences.
Everyone was armed during those times. They are guests they are allowed to be armed. Once they are seen as enemies they are disarmed.
Stephen is a slave. But he has been around so long and basically handles the day to day business. Candie is the owner but Stephen operates everything and has a cushy position. He has a cane to get sympathy and so people think he's a harmless slave. Him being the head house slave is the lowest of the low morally not in terms of hierarchy.
Nitpicky in D'artangnan. Candie paid 500 hundred for 5 fights. He paid in full he expects 5 fights. Candie can't get his money back either. If you pay someone to build a house you expect it to be completed not almost done and take a prorated price.
Django pulled over Hoots horse because he was disrespecting Django. It was clearly meant to be an insult.

To me the scene that wrecks me is when Helen Hunt says so matter-of-factly "Sorry, I only have 2% and not half and half which is what you like". She remembers such a mundane little detail about the type of milk he took with his coffee. That's the purest form of love. Fuck, she should just divorce

The Fonz and Richie are still alive. Not sure if they were considered part of the regular cast though.

Yeah! Alan Silvestri kinda plagiarized himself—the music in Avengers: Endgame near the beginning when Tony is near death in the spaceship, is very similar to the Cast Away theme.

I made a thread on here a while back about some of the lesser known movie scores that are super emotional, and the Cast Away end credits music is so moving. Love it!
Seeing that film as a child in the theater was a crazy experience

Yeah. It's projecting. At no moment had I thought that she was about to leave him. There's a lot in the movie to prove otherwise. Giving a family heirloom to someone you are about to dump? Come on. Plus, after 4 years she kept so many things from Chuck. It can't be guilt, because you can feel guilty because someone you were going to dump vanishes, but after a year you kind of forget. But holding on to the Grand Cherokee, the towels and remembering what type of milk he liked with his coffee is not something you hold on to out of guilt.

What these ceos fail to realize is that these people bitch about everything and anything, they actively look for things to be upset about, there is nothing you can do to make them happy because they will always find something to be upset about.

Not very scary nowadays as a pure horror movie but super effective as a thriller. That’s why it hooks up so well, they just made a film and told a story that was really good. Full stop.

seeing her in the conversation after growing up on l&s reruns was kind of mindblowing. I think I read somewhere that she was worried that taking asitcom would sink her as a serious actress and I wonder if that's true. Her acting in that film is so understated and perfect for the material it feels like she could have done more like that.
