I agree. He’s not terrible but he’s never very natural and seems to struggle with saying lines in a natural way. In some movies he’s enjoyable, others are just bad because he can’t pull it off. I’ve never understood why he is considered such a great actor. I mean he is good and better than most. But he’s not what a lot of people say he is - one of the greatest. Just my opinion.
