Nope, fellow millennial here and I agree completely with you.

What I lie. I wish every movie were in 3D. Just because you don’t like them doesn’t mean mean some of us don’t love them.

Something like 1 in 10 people can’t see 3D properly. Perhaps you’re one of them.

Some people are just seriously stupid. People like OP are why we have a lot of "made by committee" films. He's the lowest bar you have to make movies for and we're all dumber for it.

Why would you want to see the recent Ant Man anyway?

Maybe his first leading role. I remember that he was one of the thugs that beat up Charles Bronson or his wife in Death Wish.

Why do you need to rest your eyes? And I’m honestly wondering if you see 3D the same as everyone else. You know a lot of people can’t see 3D properly, right?

The film must be very heavy if it's breaking the ground.

Keke Palmer’s character was one of the most delightful performances I saw in a movie last year. And part of the story is her growing as a character (Daniel Kaluuya’s character does the same, as both represent one-half of their esteemed father and need to grow into their own person over the course of the film) so I cannot sympathize with disliking her.

Pinocchio beats Toy Story after decades for me.

Big Hollywood wanted a do-over on vertical integration, after the government made them give up their theater chains in Ancient Times. Since government regulators weren't stopping them from setting up their own streaming services, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to right the wrongs of history.
Probably the biggest payoff has been weakening Netflix as a streaming competitor. But this has mainly benefited Amazon, which actually has the war chest to keep competing with Netflix and with everyone else.
Sony is smart enough to stay out of this fight, and spend its money making content that other people want to buy.

Was this the most mature Dreamworks film yet? I think it was. Various “cuss words” (like crap and hell, even though I don’t think they should count), blood being shown, and the scariest antagonist of any film to date.
By far one of the best animated films I’ve seen in the last 10 years. Absolutely love it and cannot wait for another one.

I don't like 3D movies and refuse to go to them any more.
The thing is the real world is 3D, so ideally a movie in 3D should help immerse the viewer into the experience.
But directors don't use 3D to mimic the real world, they use 3D to show off 3D effect.s
If there's a monster with teeth, it's going to be leaping out to bite you in the face...if someone is holding a spear, you know that spear is going to come jabbing out at you. it's the visual equivalent of a Wilhelm scream.
3D COULD be great, but directors need to stop using it like the shiny toy they got for their birthday and want to show all their friends at school

Sony had Crackle, which never took off. I think that experience made them realize that it wasn't a game they were going to win, and, the better play is to take advantage of all the other players desperation for content , and sell their stuff at inflated prices.

I like them when there’s going to be crazy special effects like with a Dr Strange movie or other similar things where there’s a bunch going on screen, I enjoy the depth of field it gives during big battle sequences or trippy effects, however I will only see 3D in IMAX and it’s certainly not my preferred format.

I want to start by saying, I am also a millennial, since I expect to get buried by others, but I genuinely feel this Puss in Boots movie is the best thing to come out of the Shrek movies.
Yeah, I know, Shrek is love, Shrek is life, but aside from the memes and the humor, nothing in the franchise has hit like this movie.

In the age of CG animated films with 3D releases, your comment is blithering nonsense.
Know one of the best 3D movies? It was Into the Spiderverse.
Spray painting the screen? Marvelous.
Also, Gravity.
Also, most of Dreamworks, starting with those beards on How to Train Your Dragon.
News: When we have comfortable devices to enjoy 3D movies, you might find yourself enjoying 3D movies.
(MCU 3D still sucks)

I went through Crackle yesterday, and I was astonished by the amount of crap in there. So many clear rip-offs of other popular films that were one word off or something. In all, after like 500ish films I glossed through, I only recognized about 5 film names total.
It’s all just mediocre c-grade crap. At least Amazon and Tubi have good stuff, and truly horrendous stuff. Crackle is the stuff that no one else wanted.

Everyone wants his Mountains Of Madness but I don't think many people have actually read that story. Absolutely nothing happens. Nothing. Just some dudes surrounded by snow, then they come across an eldritch horror briefly and run away. The only way to turn that into a decent movie is by adding a whole lot of nonsense which would detract from Lovecraft's original work in a huge way.
The story is great as words on a page. It gets into your head and makes you think on it. Putting it on film wouldn't work.
