Thank you 💜 It feels so hard to set things up. I tried setting up a consultation with St. Joseph’s today, and they just had a nurse call me back to answer questions, even though she didn’t know anything about the labour and delivery floor. She did tell me her daughter recently gave birth and had a good experience, and that I would be meeting with the anesthesiologist prior to birth.

Southern uses a birthing team, so you don’t meet anyone there ahead of time. There is a slight chance you get your doctor. I would assume you would meet with the anesthesiologist ahead of time as well. A lot of people seem to say good things about Southern, but there seems to be a missing personal touch. Though I am starting to think birth isn’t as personal as it used to be decades ago.

I have a 3500 watt Predator inverter. It runs VERY quite, and is wicked efficient. I needed an inverter model because my natural gas burner on my furnace is like a little computer and needs a really clean energy supply.

It runs my tv, computer, lights, furnace, and sump pumps with ease. Everything needed while we wait for power to return.

I got mine in 2018, and the battery lasted about two years, it looked like some super cheap thing. Last week I started it up, something I do everything three months to put an electrical load on it, and the display wouldn’t show the voltage but it did show “0” and a icon that it was running normal.

I’m happy with it. I bought the Honda model it’s compared to and that broke a valve rod after 12 hours of use.

This is a great deal if you don’t have one.

They were initially built for lower income people close to public transportation or even walking distance to work. None ever had enough yard space to build a barn for horses and wagons.

Having lived in one, I can say that the biggest drawback was that you could hear the person above you walking around, and if you lived on the third floor, carrying a couple of grocery bags up 3 flights of stairs got old quickly. The next biggest drawback is there's typically no space for expansion as your family grows. Some people combine two apartments into one, but that's awkward.

Bottom line is, there's a crisis in NH of not enough housing and three deckers seem like an ideal solution.

It's also good for a first house with tenants paying your mortgage for you and tenants having quick access to the landlord.

Something else that no one mentions; having 3 apartments is great for inlaws so that you don't have them sharing your kitchen or bath, but they're still close to babysit for you.

Oh my god yes I work at the Target in Somersworth and last Friday the power was out for the whole street. There are like 10 traffic lights the whole route and since nobody was stopping for them, it basically meant there were 10 opportunities for me to get my car wrecked by some idiot flying out into the intersection just because they didn't know you have to stop.

She’s an adult. “Let’s” isn’t the word. She said herself in the article she refused housing from them on purpose and wants to do it on her own rather than taking the easy way out.

Now imagine the mental health he’ll that she lives in. Obviously, she needs treatment and probably has for a long time. I can see why you’re angry, this is a horrific story, however, let us direct our anger where it truly belongs and that is this Country’s lack of adequate mental health services.

Helps her have a warm place to sleep and recover. Hopefully get the meds she needs and can at least regroup. Better than being in tent city

For Chrissakes New Hampshire, get your shit together. Homeless women giving birth in the woods, babies in your State custody going missing, WTF? I guess your “live FREE or die” motto is taking things to a whole new level.
