Yes. I’ve had to take a couple down in my day. I hang a sign first giving them a week. I know that isn’t long but they were dicks to come on my land without asking in the first place. I’ve also had to remove game cams. I don’t hang a sign for those.

If there's no name or address on it, there's no way to discern it from being dumped/abandoned so I don't see why you couldn't take it down.

First off, as a hunter, thank you for keeping your land open to hunting and I'm sorry that my peers aren't respecting you and your property.

Second, it's your land so you should be able to take it down. I'd request that you leave a note for the hunter to contact you to get it back. Big game season is over, so you're not messing with anyone's hunt by taking it down. Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer and this isn't legal advice.

Here's what the NH Hunter's Digest says:

Tree Stands/Blinds: Written landowner permission is required for any tree stand, ladder, or observation blind which damages or destroys a tree by inserting into the tree any metallic, ceramic, or other object. Written landowner permission is also required if any tree is cut in conjunction with the use of any stand or blind or to construct a pit blind. These permits can be found at huntnh.com/licensing/forms.html under "Miscellaneous Permits."

On State-owned and State-managed lands, permanent stands are illegal. Portable stands or blinds may only be erected between August 1 and January 31, and must be removed by January 31.

You could reach out to NH F&G for guidance. Short of that you could take it down and/or leave it in place but write a note asking they contact you before using it/setting it back up.

Gypsy Cafe has the most unique menu you’ve ever seen. I haven’t had anything bad there either. It’s wicked eclectic. You can’t miss it.

El Charro the Mexican restaurant is pretty damn good IMO and I’m from TX. It’s also got pool and pinball and video games if you’ve got kids or a man like me to entertain.

If you do go to One Love, (or if not) stop by Burgeon Outdoor in their shopping center. They make quality gear right there in front of you. Great folks and mission.

Black Mountain Burger is excellent.

Polly's Pancake Parlor is a drive from Lincoln but it's great even if it is expensive and a tourist trap.

Common Man used to be excellent - it's now a much more expensive 99 with food not as good as 99.

Woodstock Inn food reminds me of a more-northern Puritan Restaurant. That's not a compliment.

Climate only affects people.

People are selfish and aren't good at extrapolation 2nd/3rd/etc. order repercussions, or scale up their thinking to big stuff.

People will suffer, but the planet will be fine.

We might see short-term increases in temperature, but that just leads to frozen fresh water (ice) melting into the oceans, which will likely disrupt the deep currents by changing the salinity of the currents. This will likely lead to a big drop in temperatures in North America.

In the end we'll be able to ski and ice fish year-round.

FINALLY!!!!! I'm reading all these pathetic comments & people making excuses for this POS wondering if I was the only person here who actually knows the ENTIRE story! And that her father is a Hall of fame friggin baseball player who has always given her everything she ever wanted or needed and wants to help her but she thinks homelessness is something that needs to be embraced.

She's disgusting

Yikes! Do your research before sticking up for scum!! ... her father is DENNIS ECKERSLEY! SHE HAS ACCESSS TO W.E TF KIND OF HELP SHE COULD EVER NEED! & Her parents have done everything in their power to get her the help and treatment she needs but unfortunately she's not a child anymore and her parents still want her to come back home and get help but she doesn't want to live under their $20 million dollar estate!! She enjoys her lifestyle and wants everyone to know that "homelessness can happen to anyone" and homelessness shouldn't be frowned upon! She thinks it should be embraced & wants to begin a "HOMELESS MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS EVENT" & in her word's, "Have it be like the telethon, or a carnival where you pay to get in, or a movie night and the money goes to a housing shelter."

She says that the homeless can do "LANDSCAPING AT A SPECIAL FACILITY JUST FOR THEM, MAYBE PAINT WALLS & NOT PAY RENT" 🙄👌

Her family is actually heartbroken btw!-

Her parents wanted to deliver her a message & let her know that they love her. Allie then responded saying "I know they do". & MAYBE she'll think about giving her father DENNIS ECKERSLEY (Hall of Fame pitcher who earned more than $27 million in his baseball career during the years 1975-1998) a phone call. But he's too obsessed with not wanting her to be homeless and on the streets so she probably won't call. She says she couldn't imagine her father trying to survive on the streets 😒.

She's an ungrateful disgusting pos and I can pretty much guarantee you she'll end up locked up if not this week then probably next week.

> How do you convince someone who utilizes NH's cold weather recreational activities (ice fishing, snowmobiling, skiing, etc.) to become more concerned about the shifting climate?

I think your entire premise is wrong. Unless I misunderstand, you're suggesting that you can appeal to them based on their selfishness, however none of the proposed actions are predicted to lower temperatures, only slow the rise in temperature. Certainly this is true of any effects of the proposals within the lifetime of the person you'd be speaking with today.

So why would it matter to them? You're appealing to their selfishness and then asking them to accept changes that won't benefit them which I don't think would work very well.

Analogy: imagine trying to get the patient recently diagnosed with untreatable, un-operable stage IV lung cancer to stop smoking. Why would they? The damage is done, their fate is sealed, and quitting smoking would only take away from what little pleasure they have left.

Haha, you are the kind of person who values the life of a dog over the life of a child. If any of your dogs bite you or child, I have zero sympathy. I pity your neighbors, however. A douchebag is used by a woman to clean up after the mess left by a man. So I see your mentality, to use such a word.
