Problem is that you need people that actually want to be teachers. My wife is a teacher and the abhorrent behavior of a lot of children and their parents is out of control and teachers can’t do shit about it. Nobody wants to deal with that shit. Especially for shit pay.

We call the cops at work to issue trespass orders, and once for a drunken fight where it seemed a woman had gotten knocked out. They almost always show up after the fact, and just do paperwork and leave, which is good. I can't imagine calling them for deescalation, especially in place where there aren't a lot of eyes to witness what happens.

There are similar (or higher) taxes in NH. We camouflage some of them as "fees" that you pay every year instead of the T word. If you work in massachusetts and live in NH, youll still have to pay MA income tax and youll have less opportunities to get it refunded. Vehicle inspections are a little more strict in NH. Nearly everything driving related expires on your birthday/month. They remind you of your birthday by sending you bills. Border towns are still gonna have a 1.5- 2 hour commute to the Lincoln/Loon mt area. Firearms are more common, but it's still pretty rare to actually see someone with one. NH only has medical and decriminalized cannabis. Up to 3/4ths of an ounce will result in a ticket and confiscation, anything more or crossing state lines with it is still arrest if i recall. (Im not saying you or your S.O do any of that but it is a difference from massachusetts)

NH has the better boardwalk at Hampton beach, but MA has the better physical beach location with Salisbury beach . NH doesn't require helmets or seatbelts if over 18.

Thats all i got off the top of my head. Hope it helps your decision-making process.

Check out FedEx and UPS.

There is an industrial park in Littleton and might have some other options.

FedEx and that industrial park are a couple minutes drive from the Littleton/Lisbon line.

State DOT is on Dells in Littleton and is always hiring.

Dalton is hiring for a DPW guy.

I'm sure the trash transport companies like MBI are hiring.

Plenty of construction companies around if he wants to run a dump truck.

Oil companies are likely hiring. Presby or whomever. Get used to dragging hose for oil or propane.

Lots of options with or without CDL.
