South Nashua is pretty Nice, so is the Broad st area out towards Hollis. North end by Greeley street is my personal favorite though. Lovely homes on tree lined streets, queit and nice but still walking distance to downtown.

Truthfully with the exception of tree streets, parts of downtown, and possibly French Hill, everywhere in the city ranges from decent to nice. French Hill is a bit crappy but overall not bad, just kinda dumpy.

Edit: I also forgot to mention the Fifield street area, south east of downtown. Again, quiet and nice, homes are cute and nice, but still walking distance to downtown.

We've had excellent service for years from Profile Bank on our mortgages and savings plus a business account but we also split our resources between them and North East Credit Union and NH Federal Credit Union. Though since NHFCU has downplayed services over here in the seacoast at the Lee office we have more effort going to Profile and NECU.

My brother swears by St. Mary's Bank in Manchester where he lives which is technically a credit union and I have heard good words on DCU, Holy Rosary Credit Union and Service Credit Union but no direct experiences except with their ATM's which link up with NECU (but not NHFCU - go figure).

My vote goes to any decent credit union first and then a good local bank second when you might need a second source of funds for a big purchase like a house. It's worked for us for a long time now.

Last note. My wife still has a charge card with Citizens whose phone support is okay but walk up services run shorter hours then anyone else out here and have occasional screwed up on her payments (like credit them to the wrong account). Took a while to sort that out. Not a resounding vote of confidence.

I’m so sick of out of staters tailgating me. There’s no need for it! One of the perks of living here is the lack of traffic and the mellow pace, I don’t need a red or green plate 5 feet from my bumper when I’m already doing 5 over

Rincon in Manchester.

In Nashua the Mexican food is a lot better than it was 30 years ago, but it's pretty standard fare. La Carreta is representative of the "good" Mexican food around here. Tapatio is about the same, Mi Jalisco is a bit better I think.

You might have some luck in one of the bodegas downtown, a couple of them sell a few things like tacos and they are pretty good.

For tacos I like California burrito overall, but Baja Taco has tasty birria tacos too.

Avoid La Hacienda at all costs, and Tortilla Flat in Merrimack is another "old" Mexican restaurant that never got better. Those places earn their living from townies drinking margaritas. Margaritas is also not good food.

La Santa is some of the best Mexican I've ever had. Seriously, if you haven't been there please go. California Burrito is a notable mention for when you want a quick chipotle-esque burrito with great meat.

Exactly, you would be nuts to feel unsafe there. The NH cities don't place in the highest crime rate cities in new England and neither does Lawrence or Lowell. They all have incidents since they have a lot of people living there but the rates of crime are relatively low.

Broad day light you'd be fine. Don't go there after dark though. My DM lived across the street from the park near the Elementary school there. We would hear gunshots all the time.
Once there was a fire fight on the south side of the park. Their were so many shots we all figured it was firecrackers, nope. When we left 45 minutes later, half the manch pd was there investigating.

Sadly I’d agree except drug addiction treatment isn’t fully covered by the state, or else we wouldn’t still be in the epidemic we are. So I’ll stand by my point, it’s something that should be treated with your own money. The system may be broken, but there are more pressing issues to address in regards to Medicare then the small amount of people needing HRT. Let HRT cover it AFTER they cover drug treatment. Frankly I’ve heard more about Trans in the last few years because it’s a tiny issue being yelled loudest by the few. Meanwhile drug addicts go swept under the rug completely, when it’s a dramatically bigger and more dangerous issue. Rampant drug addiction is a PUBLIC issue, therefore should be helped with public funds. Someone believing their a women or a man despite how they were born is a PRIVATE issue, and should be dealt with privately.
