CMC has been a nightmare since the pandemic, at least. They are having some serious issues with employee retention (as is everyone) but they are hiring the worst of the worst, just to fill shoes. It’s not playing out well and they should be seeing more state/fed involvement soon.

There was a guy in Rumney I think who was amazing, I don’t even remember why I found him except at my step mom used to have a Porsche from the 70s or 80s.

He was a sweetheart he would do it out of his garage at his beautiful house out in the woods, and I would hang out in his house with his wife and drink coffee and read books, but I appreciated that he let me chill with his wife because it’s not like there’s anything else to do while you’re sitting there for three hours in the woods unless you’re down to go hiking in unfamiliar areas by yourself

Have you had a problem with deprioritization on Mint mobile? I was on Ting, and had to leave because I would often find I could get great signal but no data due to that. I see here that Mint has a QCI of 7, which is second highest priority, I believe.

I'm in the Upper Valley and use Google Fi, which runs off of T-Mobile. It's totally fine. I was on Verizon, and I'd say the coverage is about 90% of what I had before. However, it's much cheaper - $25/month (when at 3 lines) for unlimited data.

35 plus years nursing experience here.

Pick the most technical job you can, like icu, etc. Make sure they have a preceptorship program. You can always get a lower level job later. Point is, you must learn what real hard-core nursing is like , otherwise you'll regret it later, you will fear certain positions and be very limited and disgruntled. Nobody likes a shitty nurse. Plus you will get paid extremely well for that experience. Good luck , you are a fine person for selecting this field, make us proud!

I'm in S.NH and have Xfinity, I don't have a 5G phone but my wife does. Our coverage seems pretty much the same, poop. Don't know if Verizon network is garbage or Xfinity gets limited? If you're concerned about signal quality and data rates you might want to pay up for the first class carrier service (ATT, TMobile, Verizon) instead of a MVNO.

Agree with all the negatives (Portsmouth, frisbee). Also meant to add not to work for the concord hospital system (concord, Laconia, Franklin). What part of the state are you? Memorial in Conway and speare in Plymouth are nice. Dartmouth would be such an amazing way to start if you can make the commute work. Elliot will grind your soul into dust but you will learn a lot. CMC and at joes are nice Manchester alternatives.

Yeah I'd for sure get a pre-purchase inspection. I mean if it seems like it's in petty good shape, and you're definitely getting a discount from not buying new - you could luck out.

There is a place in Exeter that sells Jaguars and other high end cars, they might be worth looking into for service as well, but I'm spacing on the name

Your conventional wisdom on this is on point. With "luxury" cars, you kind of want a place that specializes in them...like a dealership. You don't really want to bring it to "Bill discount auto" or whatever place that spends most of their days servicing Nissan Altimas. Regardless of where you go, it's going to be exponentially more expensive to maintain. I have a higher-end Audi myself, and I'm pretty used to paying $500+ per tire, or having them quote me $750+ to change the headlights. It just comes with the territory.

Buying used luxury cars is a whole different can of worms that I won't open

Agreed .I picked up a window recently for my sister in laws house 48x69 so big window for 75$ . Was in great shape .

They have lots of doors and hardware but trying to outfit an entire house may be iffy due to dimensions needed but if you are doing it slowly could be the ways to go

I worked at a restore for Habitat ( Andover/Lawrence) and they have a larger selection than Newington so I’d shop around but they use to have a ton of appliances at that spot
