They suck. They prioritize profits over quality and compassionate care and it shows. They also treat the staff like shit. They also ruined Frisbie even more than it already had been and I didn't think that was possible

Why? What’s wrong with HCA? As a frequent patient, not a nurse

I know some wonderful people who work at Exeter. It gets a bad reputation because of the Hepatitis guy who was a traveler, I believe. It is a small community hospital, so it has its limitations.

There is only one great hospital in NH, DHMC in Lebanon. It happens to be a very beautiful part of the state. If you want a more urban situation consider Boston. Extreme NH emergency patients are sent to DHMC, if not MGH in Boston.
I've had two personal experiences with the ED at Exeter. Both a disaster.

Definitely not a coincidence. They’re still withholding her client list, literally protecting rich elitist pedophiles. They don’t care about the kids, they only care about protecting pedophiles, rapists, and murderers. Look at last summer, they released rapists and murderers in Manchester.

“This country is doomed. It is doomed, not just because of African Americans, but because by 2040 this country is going to be minority white European. Hear me? Minority white European.“
Joe Biden
Yes, he really said that...

Future employers will judge your resume by your school. It's not fair or right but it is what most employers do in the screening process before you even get an interview. Biochemistry and a lab science will look better coming from UNH than from Plymouth. Unless Plymouth has a clear pipeline and connections with companies in your field (possible) I would go UNH.

Tell me about it! I had a guaranteed job at DHMC, but I simply could not afford to live there and was unwilling to commute an hour+ each way to work there.
It's a pity because it was a great hospital to work at. Super exciting.

Come to DHMC, I work in the ED and we have a good team. I commute from Concord area, not horrible because it’s only 3 12 hour shifts a week.

I loved working at Concord Hospital! I was there as an RN for 5 years before moving into education.

Not sure of anywhere in that area. Sorry I couldn’t be more help. Unfortunately everyone wants antique fixtures, as a plumber I often see them and ask about them and even offer cash but to no avail. I have a porcelain wall mount lav that I’d be willing to give you but it’s not a stylish antique.

Most likely the reason you get mixed answers on the partying is people get what they look for. The ones that went to party found it. The ones that went to study most likely spent more time researching and less time drinking. It's what you make of it. I absolutely agree with the other person's post too. Research the professors and see what they have to offer you. Also... Congrats on the acceptance!

I didn’t go to Plymouth and I partied a bunch with people at Plymouth and from Plymouth at Livermore falls. If you are solely looking at not partying and just studying I’m sure you could just avoid parties. It’s a known party school though.

I can’t speak to either but if you have not done so yet, look at the faculty biographies at each schools and see which professors have research interests that align with your own (or at least pique your curiosity). (If it’s not listed in their bio on the school’s website, google their name and CV/name and research publications.)
Also did you get a tour of the labs at each?
Good luck!

If this triggers you, you might be racist. And by “might,” I mean you are definitely a racist snowflake.

DHMC Lebanon is a fine hospital and they're alllwaaayyssss looking for nurses. If you can live a half our outside of Leb, you can find more reasonable housing.
