Bail reform does not entail granting bail to people who would not otherwise be eligible, it means reducing (or better yet, eliminating) CASH bail. If a judge released someone on any form of bail when there was ample evidence that the person was either a flight-risk or posed a danger to others, that's on the judge - not bail reform. Cash bail is classist bullshit, and needs to go. If a person is deemed safe to be released on bail at all, the size of their bank account shouldn't matter.

This shit is hardly new. I went to Monadnock from 2007-2011 and we had tons of issues with things like racist graffiti in the school. Odds are pretty good that the offenders are being protected because they're related to someone in the administration or have relatives who are friends with someone there. "He's a good kid, he wouldn't do this" and he gets a slap on the wrist and is free to continue being a menace. This is not at all an isolated phenomenon in rural NH.

Show up at the property and listen is an easy one.

I didn't buy land near a sawmill in Rumney for this reason. Not due to the noise from the saw or trucks, but due to the noise from the backup beapers on the equipment they were running.
