Went to the one in Portsmouth and swore never to return. It literally took 1.5 hours to be served eggs and get my check on a weekday when the place was barely busy. I went for a quick lunch, and was late returning to work because of it and was pissed. And, they were completely Unapologetic about it. Worst service I've ever experienced anywhere.

Drove a plow for a friend from 5am to 5pm today.
This is my first new England winter...no wonder everyone living here is so goddamn grumpy

I agree with OP. Utility workers are bad ass. I had multiple problems on long underground runs and they show up in the winter and stay all night until it’s done. and never got a bill.
It’s our governor and the utility company who should be the recipients of your discontent.

Came here to see if anyone had posted this yet. Easily one of the top breakfast spots in the state.

I would not buy it off the street anymore. It literally is being laced with fentanyl

16" today near Kearsarge on top of the 8" the other day. Took me 4 hours for the deck, roof and my neighbor's and my driveways. Time for a Gov'nah now

15 inches on the money, since whenever it started snowing yesterday, by the Keene airport.

Very nice sentiment but they do make really good money for their time during storms…way more than I did with combat pay in Afghanistan and they don’t have ied’s or casualties to deal with.

I cleared the driveway this morning, had probably 8". Did it again just now, and there was at least 6 more. And it's still coming down pretty good. Should be interesting to see what we've got tomorrow morning.

Not a ton but some important ones. Our power has been out for 11 hours thanks to a tree falling on lines near our main road. Glad to have a generator.

Seriously lol
Especially seeing that buds are literally everywhere, and half the price it was 15 years ago.
But, I guess they need something else to do besides bust working class people for stickers, due to the snow.

Utilities can trim trees near lines without permission and are supposed to do it on a regular basis.
However, that costs Eversource money - and we can't have that poor company going bankrupt!
If you have lines on your street that have overhanging branches, you can call them. If you have enough neighbors calling they will eventually send someone to take a look at it.

Agreed. For me, born and raised in NH, I have never called myself a new hampshirite.
So I read this as two DIFFERENT questions.
Do you consider yourself a new hampshirite OR as a person from NH.
My answer would be I ID as a person from NH
