What is your data source for the investor stat? Not being an asshole btw, genuinely curious and finding NH housing data isn’t straightforward. One thing I’ve been curious about, too, is longitudinal data on short-term rentals in the state.

These will all be fine (and mostly have water available en route, either from huts or surface water). We hike them with our dog. Only caution I would offer is to ask if the dog is used to that mileage? Ours will sometimes get her paws rubbed raw if we go much over 10 miles / day, and fireman carrying her out sucks.

Get a copy of the AMC white mountains guidebook, which has detailed info on all of these hikes (and good cautions for hikes with a lot of exposure that it sounds like you want to avoid).

Big city person trying to shift paradigms without a clutch and going full rural (which is often entertaining) aside , If you're looking for highway access to get to NJ, you'd be better off looking more toward the Connecticut River since I-91 gives you a much straighter shot, and White River Junction even has a daily train which goes to New Jersey.

I was without power and water for a few days. I decided to spoil myself one of the nights and bask in the luxury that is the Holiday Inn Express. I was studying in the lobby close to midnight when dozens of linemen started rolling in from in- and out-of-state. Poor dudes looked wiped! But let me tell you, those guys party just as hard as they work. You could hear them raging from the elevator shaft 🤙🏻. Then they were back on the road at 6am to do it again. Moral of the story is that if you ever stay in a hotel during a power outage, have some beer on hand for our boys in fluorescent yellow.

Horse shit.

Who do you think keeps holding up marijuana legalization. Hint: it isn't the Democrats.

Who keeps advocating for banning books they don't like? Hint: it isn't the Democrats.

Who keeps trying to push their god into every political decision because they think it is what is the best for other people? Hint: it isn't the Democrats.

The Democratic party isn't perfect by any means and I have plenty of gripes with them too but don't drink the Kool aid of "Republican means freedom".

They want the freedom to do what they want not freedom for others to make their own decisions.
