Yep, I truly don't understand the reasoning behind this and it's my biggest pet peeve while driving.
I'll typically wait until they take their right of way and go. They underestimate how long I'm willing to wait, but fuck me if I'm going to catch blame for going out of turn and causing a wreck.

If the home state doesn't require a front plate the car is fine.

Its the same reason people rage against teachers.
It's easy.

Right, I’ve heard that deer/moose are trained to only ever jump out in front the first car.

You just have to be slower than the fastest car.

I said exactly the same thing in another sub. Why does everyone revel in crapping on the people who are doing one of the worst jobs imaginable? It's almost like the government wants the organization to fail and makes it impossible for them to be effective.
The other important thing a lot of people don't understand/don't want to accept is that the research right now points to keeping children with their families. Taking kids away from their families is not only more expensive, but the outcomes tend to be worse for them in foster care/group homes. DCYF is charged, therefore, with trying to keep children with their parents and provide help/guidance to the family.
Now maybe the pendulum will swing in the opposite direction and more kids will be pulled from parents in the future, but there it is...

Oh haha trust me I left a lot of Florida in Florida. Came here to escape the fascism, urban sprawl and over-crowding mainly. I don't miss the traffic in the slightest and thank my lucky stars I got out. But it's all relative.

Thanks for the advice. Exeter is high on the short list. But we plan to explore and rack some miles across the state.

If you have your heart set on seacoast Exeter would be the play if it's in budget. Massive network called Fort Rock, Stratham hill nearby, Pawtuckaway and Bear Brook State Parks within 30 min. Bear Brook in particular is just amazing.

As a fellow NH mtber, the Monadnock region has very few mtb trail networks. Seacoast and greater Manchester/Nashua have much more to offer. Trailforks.com is your friend for this area.

I'm not defending that I do that. I shouldn't drive high. I'm trying to quit. It's a crime, in fact.

I always recommend taking the right of way if you have it as to behave otherwise introduces risk.
