I moved to Somersworth 10 years ago and I am happy with the direction the city is heading in. I am close to the Boston area, the mountains, the lakes, and both NH and Maine seacoasts. All the stores you need including a brand new TSC. Market Basket? Check. I live in a family neighborhood with good people.

Like Rochester, awful reputation. But don't knock it til you tried it.

Not only do I yield my turn and flick my high beams to let them go, but I actually get out of my car and place emergency cones and direct traffic for a bit. During the summers, I do this in buttless chaps, the massholes love this. The ones that don’t get my butt-prints on their windshields

Implied consent and refusal are both covered under RSA 265-A4 and RSA 265-A14. Given that RSA 265-A15 says:

"Nothing contained in this section shall be construed to prevent or require a subsequent test pursuant to RSA 265-A:4. The police officer requesting the test shall advise orally the person to be tested that his or her failure to take the test or his or her taking of the test shall not be construed to prevent or require a subsequent test pursuant to RSA 265-A:4."

Unless something to the contrary explicitly indicates that refusal of the preliminary breather causes a license suspension I would have to believe that RSA 265-A15 protects against administrative punishments for refusal of the PBT.

Ahh, I moved here from Roanoke and I've been largely unimpressed with the trails most accessible to me. Conway is very good, but it's a significant drive from the Concord area where I live. Same with Kingdom trails in VT. So, brace yourself. Trails in the blue ridge offer way more in the way of climbing and extended downhills than basically anything south of Conway. Green woodlands is the only possible exception, but it's not all that diverse (no tech, just lots of berms). I'm moving back to the rockies in large part due to the general crowdedness of this part of the country and the weak MTB and skiing.

Franklin is on the move! They just opened the first whitewater park in the East on the Winnipesaukee River. Highland Mountain bike park is about 5 miles away. Many beautiful Victorian homes are being refurbished in the area and there are at least 3 brewpubs within about 5 miles…one right downtown. Avoid it if you have kids though as the school system there is currently underfunded.

This drives me crazy, and it is illegal. If you have the right of way you can not relinquish it to be “polite”, and except in rare instances of extreme traffic if just F’s up the flow of traffic.

If there is an accident you will likely be considered at fault because you “failed to yield”.

It is a pet peeve of mine because when I took my driving test a million years ago I had a person do this. I waited, they continued to flash their lights and gesture for me to turn.

Being 16 and nervous as hell, I finally gave in and turned. The DMV agent told me it was an automatic failure for failure to yield.

Now, I just sit there and wait until they do what they should have done in the first place. It’s funny how many of those “nice” people then give me the finger! 😂

If you have a lease and violate the something in the lease then they have to give you written notice to correct the violation. There are terms that are in many leases that are illegal, or subject to interpretation, or there are claimed violations for which their is no proof or that you did not commit. Or the landlord may not be keeping the property in habitable condition.

There is an eviction process to cover all these scenarios.
