Oh yea. I’ve noticed. But I’m relocating and it’s either NH or MA. Through my research, NH is more like home to me.

The solution there is a half trigger law, half immediate law. Legalize possession, restrict sales to the state, but don't start selling until federally legal. In the meantime, be lax in enforcement of the sales prohibition.

The best reason still isn't a good one.

It does have easy access to 93, it's just a long drive. Take the Vermont side down to St J and there's very little traffic.

AFAIK 10 acres is taxed before you can put the rest in current use, except in some situations like wetlands the minimum is like 2 acres. Or if you can separate into 2 adjacent parcels and own both, one can be entirely in current use, but it's not easy to split a single parcel up.

In FL one place I lived at would post notices to pay or quit on the doors the day rent was due. In the evening yeah but they didn't even check the drop box first, I'd hear someone putting it on my door while my check was sitting in their office. Of course it was meaningless since they got it the next day but still looked like assholes.

For all the reasons to be against legalization this is probably the best one. It makes a lot of sense to have state owned dispensaries- will bring in a lot of extra revenue from other states.

Ditto on dog sling... Ours randomly tore his cruciate ligament and I shudder to think what we would've done with an 80lb dog on top of a mountain.
Otherwise it's a lot of getting your dog used to asking for help. Uncomfortable scramble? Wait for directions and help from the human.
Our youngest is still learning (which results in me having to catch her as she starts to take a tumble). Our oldest waits for me to help when he's uncomfortable.

The other day I was coming up to a green light to go straight through and there was a semi truck pulling into the intersection making a left turn in front of me. I hit the brakes and stopped on green. I realized too late that he had a yield left turn and was going to sit there and just block traffic so he'd be guaranteed the left even if the light turned red, that's common enough to have a name, the Pittsburgh left. But he just went since I gave way.
By the time he finished turning I had a red light. Point being.... idk just be careful and pay attention. Don't worry about pleasing everybody else on the road. Everyone makes driving mistakes, even really stupid ones - yes you do - so don't get angry either.

Are you on Facebook? You could make a post on the moultonborough fb page asking. Also I know one of the fish and game conservation officers runs a maple sugaring stand out of wolfeboro. Next time it's open you could stop by and ask if they know of anyone

Way too many people here are okay with drunk driving. Go look at all the empty bottles on the side of the road. States are too lenient on people who drive drunk.

Reply to The reddit anti-evil team removed a post from this subreddit where a guy was trying to sell airgun equipment and permanently suspended the user who posted it, because they claim he violated the "no selling firearms" rule. This was not my doing and there's nothing I can do about it. by Senno_Ecto_Gammat
For anyone curious, airguns are not legally considered firearms, except in New Jersey. Federally they're not regulated (other than possible restrictions on hunting with them, I don't know about that)
Edit: apparently Rhode island also defines them as firearms. NJ and RI are the only states that currently do.

The only reason he is against it is because he wants to regulated it like the state liquor stores. Can’t do that unless it’s federally legal

I think that area should just stay empty as is, a lot of birds like it. Unfortunately they don't pay rent for it.
Maybe use that empty mall right down the road..?
