no they couldn't. The zoning would never support that. and the "Affordable" part is BS. They are renting these to their own employees, so it's more like the "sold my soul to the factory store" type of situation where your boss is also your landlord, etc.

Some people also don't seem to think about scale of these operations when they see some of the prices. Yeah, it may be a bit overpriced right now, but until it can be federally legalized, I don't think there will be a massive shift in prices.

There's a big upfront investment for the facilities and staff that needs to be made up. Plus, many law firms are incorporating cannabis strain intellectual property law into their services. So, growers that want to avoid a costly (potentially ruinous) lawsuit pay royalties to grow some of our favorite strains.

The best analogy I can think of is the industrialized agriculture industry. They can operate across state lines with large reaching and complex distribution networks that allow them to operate with smaller profit margins. (I agree with the points you've brought up, just adding food for thought).

Edit: btw, which dispo do you hit up? I go to herbal pathways in Berwick. They have quarters as low as $45 after taxes. Prices vary depending on which grower it came from.

Lol i think this gets asked here and bubbles up at least once a month. Outside of talking to internet strangers or making friends via your own hobbies it’s so hard to make new in person connections cuz cities are small and living in a house is expensive so its already a small subset of people and most are older.

Definitely worth trying though! I live outside manchester and am down to hang, you guys also live close to a bunch of mountains and snow sports have some good social opportunities too but can be $$$ Its an outdoorsy state so you wont get much in the way of urban experiences outside of manchester really. You are gonna have to kind of cut your own path and then see who comes up along the way

My son's workplace got flooded from the cold weather. Frozen pipe. It's a 35 story tower but I don't know which floor the problem was in. Plumbers are crazy busy in MA and NH dealing with this stuff.
