I'd love to take her but we're in the middle of home renovations, the noise and chaos isn't going to be good for her while she's trying to settle in.

I'm pretty sure I did that in the loop too! Such a great hike, its relatively close to civilization but damn, in some spots it feels so isolated and dense.

Yeah not only is xc skiing equipment cheaper, but lots of towns maintain their own trails free to use (Conway is an example) and schools with teams often allow the public to use their trails when not using them for training/meets

Yes. Population growth drives economic stimulus and new residential housing.
There is currently a housing crisis for the reverse of this. Why build new residential if there’s no way to get to work? (Boston or manch via rail)
