Concord hospital where to start. That kidney cancer on all of so many CT's and MRI's that no one ever told me about. It has to progress for over a decade and I had to get ill and insist I was ill and transfer my care elsewhere to get dx. How about the ER sending me on my way telling me that full body scan found a goiter, but never telling me I had plural effusion and pneumonia... Ambulance back as O2 was down to 82-84 by then. 3 day stay should have been treated out patient if only they had treated me at the ER. How about my painful hernia that showed up on CT's 3 connective months of CT's and and I would end up in ER again. They ask me if I had a hernia. Nope I say so ER doc puts his butchers thumb quickly and deeply into the hernia to elicit big pain response... Guess he just couldn't believe me when I said nope I have no hernias. He saw it on those 3 scans. Concord nuero, you must be taking before this past year when 90% of their doctors left so they had an APRN play the roll of doctor. F me up good with too high med dosing. she also billed out as if my doctor, no longer there, still was. Headache clinic is gone. So much more about NH health care. Let's talk about nursing homes? Can't wait for Sununu to brag on the campaign trail about what he's done to improve our health care.

Just because it is not a law, does not mean that no one will do it. If it is the cost/ being covered by insurance that is another issue.

I would think that with your history, there should be someone who would consider this a medical necessity.

Stop paying rent until it’s fixed. Keep receipts, take photos, document EVERYTHING. Start advising the PM and landlord that you would like to record all conversations on the topic in case they try some shady tactics.

Edit: consult an attorney first! They will probably try to evict you if you complain or withhold rent.

I would contact the owner, take some pictures too, and ask him when he thinks the work will be done as it seems to have been stalled.

Just be inquisitive, not demanding or anything. Tell him you cannot get any definite answer from the PM, and was wondering when they can start using the kitchen again.

The PM maybe telling him a story about the job, his level of skill to do the job, or the cost. Do not get upset with anyone until you get no where or they become hard to reach, or other behaviors of making this turn more into a nightmare.

You should also be keeping an eye out for a new place as the owner may want to fix things up to sell and you would be at a disadvantage in finding a place.

It is very hard finding a dentist you can trust. I've been going to Suncook Dental for a long time now and they've always treated me well, I've never felt taken advantage of, and they have only done what's necessary. I've been to other dentist in NH who have clearly recommended unnecessary procedures trying to drive up business in the Concord area. Be careful, be choosey, and don't be afraid to try a few dentists out.

That sucks that it was squashed. Im 17 and was looking at NH as my hope to become steril when im 18. Without birthcontrol i bleed nonstop, all day every day. Ive been on BC for 4 years and it sucks. I just wanted an ablasion so I wont have periods and I can stop my BC. I also dont want kids and am terrified of being pregnant.

The great thing about bringing in additional residents is that you get additional taxes to help fund any needed infrastructure improvements, the existence of which you can use to issue bonds now to complete those projects ahead of time.

There is no need to do anything about traffic for a commuter rail station there. Build lots of housing in the area within walking distance, a grade separated cycling/PEV path network linking the greater downtown, improve general walkability, and include a nice drop-off/pickup loop and dedicated lanes for local buses. Don't build any car parking; the train is for people that aren't driving. If a park-and-ride option is desired, use an infill station next to the Pheasant Lane Mall, it's not like they're using the space these days.

There aren't any physical or financial limits preventing Nashua from making the downtown a much better place to live. They simply choose not to do so to benefit cars, like most cities and towns in the country.

Start deducting meals that you have to go out for from the rent. Take pictures and have a good timeline of the project and consult with a real estate attorney. If they give you any crap about the deductions. Oh and probably be prepared to move.

The Affordable Care Act mandated coverage for birth control to include female sterilization for private insurance as well as those purchased on the exchanges. This is from 2021 and specifically says female sterilization is covered. https://www.kff.org/womens-health-policy/fact-sheet/sterilization-as-a-family-planning-method/

Looks like it was pretty much unanimously squashed.

Committee report 20-0 ITL

From the 16 March calendar:
HB 277, relative to patients’ right to sterilization treatment. INEXPEDIENT TO LEGISLATE. Rep. Erica Layon for Health, Human Services and Elderly Affairs. The committee agreed that adult women should not be denied sterilization on the grounds that the doctor knew better than the woman that she would want children in the future. This is all too common and a problem that must be addressed, however the members of the committee opposed this bill for various reasons. Some objected to mandating insurance coverage of a procedure in the patient’s bill of rights. Others objected to adding individual procedures to the intentionally broad patient’s bill of rights. Others were concerned that a surgeon’s right of conscience could be put at risk, and that language to address this shortcoming would make the bill useless. Due to these numerous concerns, the committee would welcome a new approach to this pressing concern. Vote 20-0.

Tabled via a vote of 367-8 on 2/23/2023

It's not dead-yet, but it might as well be. The gist I'm getting is it was a poorly written bill. You can likely find the committee hearing online as well as the session. Key dates to look for would be in the link below. Seems like a lot of information came up in the hearing to lead to the various opinion in the executive session on that bill.
