You’re doing just fine! Lots of the big operations don’t clean all year and they leave the pans sweet all season long. Ends up degrading color a lot by the end of the year. Lots of mineral deposits and cleaning at the end. No real need to boil right away either as long as you keep the sap well refrigerated. We keep our holding tank buried in snow. We sugar at our camp and can only get up once or twice a week. Most of the product being medium to dark is normal, it’s what makes the light runs so exciting. They are rare and usually get one or two shots at it per year and is a good incentive to get out and tap early!

This is true of every surrounding state as well. What about NH do you specifically think is attractive? The whites are great.

I've yet to hear a guy audibly harrumph in public, but envisioning this in my head greatly amuses me.

Just curious - how did you inspect it with an expired registration? I thought mechanics required a current registration to do an inspection.

We run a small wood fired 1.5x6 hobby evaporator with about 100taps out. What would you say is a standard rate for cleaning? We are usually clean 2 to 3 times a season depending on sap quality and the weather.
This is just an extensive hobby for us that has built over the years. We try and boil off everything we collect in a 24hr period. It's difficult on those days that run hard though! Most of the 30 gallons we ended up bottling this year was medium to dark

I'd run through the streets naked screaming in jubilation if that ever happened.

This is a pretty egregious misuse of power, but the state itself is a fantastic place to live in general. Many people can find a lifestyle they desire in so many different parts of the state.
A politician or political engines misuse of power in a state can have a slow but impactful effect on everyday life of the citizens. But with the cycle being what it is and the NH house being so large any meaningful change for better or worse is hard to come by.

But you can shoot someone’s dog for “threatening” your property. That dog is also private property.
Edit: you can’t hunt them, but shooting them on your land isn’t always hunting.

Poland Springs is trash and isn't even from a spring anymore... Hasn't been in decades. We had Monadnock Mountain spring water delivery when we lived there.

Lmao, a guy at work always calls him that and while not the smoothest of wordplay, it gets the point across 😂
I’ve heard Sunono before though, that’s a good one as well considering his veto record

As do I. But here is my take/opinion...what have you.
To me Trumpnwas a catalyst. He was a way in for all the conspiracy theorists, hate mongers, conservative zealots to be heard. Someone, picked that abomination of a cabinet with uts revolving door, picked the policies, kept him in check. But his ego exploded and when he lost bigly in 2020 he went nuts and his handlers lost control and we saw what happened.
DeSantis IS the epitome of all that oozed out from every rock, cesspool, dumpster, etc. DeSantis, being a governor, has more power, albeit in one sad, impotent oenis shaped state, to put some of the most hate filled. racist, bigoted. classist, misogynistic...I could go on.. in place. What he's put out in Florida isn't just one punch in the arm for every white male, it dangerous.
DeSantis is fucking dangerous. Again, in my opinion.

Yes, be very concerned. I was on Fox25 Boston news years ago talking about it. We moved out of town after 8 years of weird health issues.
