Hi All,
As the title says, we are a family of four considering moving to NJ in the next 3-4 months. My wife is currently SAHM and is not planning to look for work for the next year or so (infant at home). My eldest starts kindergarten this year so looking for a good/ great elementary schools. My job is fully remote so we don't need/want to be in expensive commuter towns. We are planning to rent for the near term to explore different areas in NJ before purchasing.
Here are our “wishes” for finding a good place in NJ: 1/ a family neighborhood where we can safely get out with the kids (parks, streets…) day and night 2/ great school district for public elementary school 3/ good healthcare since we have to go quite often to pedetrician or hospital 4/ Closer to a city with downtown that has shopping, restaurants, hustle and bustle would be perfect. Even though we will for sure go to NY on weekends to visit 5/ Budget is $3k for 2+bd dwelling.
That being said let me know your advice with these details. We are open to any recommendations since researching schools through online ratings is hit or a miss IMO.
