I don't understand why 55+ communities have lower rent and purchase prices than average.
As a millennial, this makes no sense to me. Wouldn't it be more likely people within these generations would have more money to spend? When adjusting for inflation, millennials really get the short end of the stick.
I would love to see more affordable options for younger generations who are getting priced out by real estate corporations and "luxury" apartments.
