Pictured is the router which sent the 1st internet connection from NYC to Tokyo. These were sold out of a basement office of a home in Rahway NJ. It's signed by everyone who worked for Cisco Systems in 1989. That building has been converted to co-op space. It's amazing.
At one point it was in such disrepair that deer and other wildlife were living in it.
