Maybe Hudson County. Your close to NY. If your not picky you can find a place that's not to expensive like WNY, UC,North bergen. Your close to Hoboken, which is very social. Not to far from Jersey city, mega city. Busses on every block. Trains everywhere. There are also other cities near by that are less chaotic but still near everything.

750-800k is our budget. Yeah we really don’t want to move to such a pricey area but we’re just trying to find the best school districts for the kids. Originally from NJ actually, moved to pa for fellowship, then pandemic hit and really messed up job market in nj and we’re finally looking into moving back to be closer to family.

I live in a shore town and the litter is more of an issue here than anywhere I’ve ever lived before - people throw trash into my yard. I’ve never lived in a place in NJ as densely populated as my neighborhood though, and there was a lot less foot traffic where I’ve lived before, so that explains a lot. Definitely still sucks though!
