Something creepy and eerie. Honestly it doesn’t even have to be an abandoned place like honestly just a system of tunnels or like sewers and whatnot.

I like Korean Tacos, and this sounds like a different twist on the same idea.

genuinely happy for you but as someone who grew up taking the train it’s kinda funny that there is this whole world you never stepped foot in hahaha. glad you’ve been enjoying it

Yeah, the one by me is great, it hits the major points in town in a loop with a stop at the train station

When it works well, it's awesome.
When it doesn't, it's a pain in the ass.
I've gotten stranded at Long Branch waiting for a transfer a few too many times to not have a backup plan in place.

You can rent my dog. But it’s expensive.

I really liked the campus but had the same realization after my first semester and transferred out. Dumb kids make dumb decisions lol

That is correct. Even on the deck in Atlantic Highlands 1st Avenue has an elevator to bring you up to the 2nd floor where you eat and take a wonderful view of the Harbor the boats and New York City

Prospect Ave had something similar to Essex St. but not often enough where it'd work for commuting purposes. Seemed more like a "toss the seniors a bone" thing.

FYI monthly passes also include light rail and bus use (if you are traveling within the same zone).

What kind of site are you looking for? Regular homes and businesses or something special and large-scale?

Grounds for Sculpture is lovely! It is a bit of a drive from Camden but Battery Lewis in Highlands, NJ is a great outdoor spot. Paths are paved and there are wheelchair accessible restrooms. Gorgeous views of the NY Harbor and (on a clear day) the NYC skyline. Recommend packing a picnic and enjoying a sunny day there. Then get lunch/dinner in one of the many delicious restaurants of Highlands.

They say it’s unlimited but I believe they discourage anything above 21 days a year?

Does the PTO regenerate fully at the start of every year? And shutdowns I would assume are only for the plants since the corporate staff are present year round?

I’m assuming the PTO regenerates in full at the start of every year? Or does it accumulate as you go through the year?

My street has a bus to the train station, free if you have a monthly pass

Why would you want to go to school in Long Island? There are plenty of great in-state schools

Having moved to north NJ from Philly suburbs, where public transport is absolutely garbage, I appreciate it too. I lived NW of Philly, closest train was a 25 minute drive, and the trains were once every 2 hours.

I’m a new Jack to NJ, and have been commuting into the city for the past few months since moving. 14 bucks one way into Penn for a while, but then I figured out taking a different train to Hoboken for 11 bucks and taking the PATH. My local station offers parking passes which helped me save literally 1200 bucks on daily parking. The monthly passes, while cheaper, aren’t much of a discount. Either way, beats driving in by a long shot.

The Avalon building in Bloomfield allowed dogs while I was there, but it's a monthly fee. Also it's right by the train station so the rent is on the high side. I honestly would not recommend them, but many people had big dogs there.

There are at least four wheelchair accessible restaurants in Palmer Square, and the parking garage on Spring Street has a ramp out to the street. When I was in a wheelchair for foot surgery, my favorite place was Kristine's, which is a French bistro next to the public library. But there also is Witherspoon Grill, a white tablecloth steak house, next door. They are both in the library plaza, which is all flat with chairs and tables. Down the street on Hulfish is Mediterra, which serves tapas, and there's Teresa's Pizza on Palmer Square East. All of these restaurants have wheelchair accessible restrooms. There are other places too within a block of each other and most if not all of the shops are street level, though some are small and might be a bit tight for a wheelchair but the area is safe and you can leave the chair outside for a quick visit. The town is revamping part of Witherspoon to be one-way, and from what I can tell, this area will be wheelchair friendly also. You can spend a nice day just in the Palmer Square area, as u/ProfessorKnifey, says. Many people don't know this, but there is an original Norman Rockwell mural behind the bar in the Yankee Doodle Taproom. It's not in the best condition (and I am not recommending the food) but worth looking at. To get to it, use the Nassau Inn entrance across from Teresa's and take the elevator down. Good luck and enjoy your visit!
