I rented at estling village in denville with 2 60# dogs. They even have a little dog park there and poop stations around.

Rents around $2500

A lot of the highrises in Edgewater and North Bergen allow large dogs. My apartment in Bergen county didn’t specify breed or weight but had to approve him. He’s a 85lb American bully so I was concerned, I brought all kinds of receipts and references and also had him become my daughters emotional support animal.

I used to bring him to dog daycare at a place called Strut Your Pup in Guttenberg, they have dogs that come there for daycare daily and I would say 90% of their clientele are in apartments in North Bergen, Edgewater, Fort Lee, Cliffside and West New York. They also do pet taxis where they pick up and drop off like 40 dogs each day about half of them large breeds. If I were you I would call them and ask them if they could give you a list of the apartment complexes they routinely pickup large dogs from.

I commuted from Belmar to lower Manhattan by train and it took 2:20 each way on a good day. Then I started taking the bus from the Monmouth rest area on the parkway. It was $30 less per week and took 1:40.

I liked rail - very smooth ride, comfortable and quiet. But losing an extra 1:20 of my life per day, nearly 7 hours a week, was just nuts.

As a married couple, we go every other week and pay between $60-$100 each time. The trick is to buy things on sale and then take the time to eat what you have before you buy more of it. As for personal cleansing items and paper products, we get them at CVS for free by rolling coupons and extra care bucks.
