I tried to be a cop but couldn't because I'm colorblind (I didn't know). Loads of my friends joined and made friends inside. The mentality is collective, you adopt the personality if you didn't buy into it you'll conform or get pushed out.

Change from inside is almost impossible

The staff turnover is pretty high, especially on the ice cream side. I knew a girl who worked there a while back; said the pay was terrible and the owner/manager expected a share of the tips even if he wasn't there that day (to be left in a certain spot for him when he came in the next day). They tend to hire high school girls that they can pay cheap under the table wages.

The last time I was there, my vanilla soft serve ice cream was 3 different colors and tasted sour; it was obvious they weren't big on cleaning the machine properly.

I booked the Park & Travel which uses the same Motel 6 lot. I can’t tell if that’s the same business as the Motel 6 or if it’s a different company just using the same lot since they’re listed separately on the Way parking app.

It’s a state by state issue. NJ has addressed tons of shit but at the end of the day are you signing up to be a cop? It’s a certain type that does and until all these people protesting it sign up why would it change more?

Protesting isn’t going to fix it. Vote and run.

The public library would be my choice. Easy to access, bright, and lively. Not too quiet, and not loud. Just the right amount of people around to not be distracted, or feel lonely. I enjoy going to Mamoun's but they do tend to get busy sometimes, so sitting there for a few hours might be frowned upon.

I've used the Motel 6 parking numerous times, and will use it undoubtedly in the future. The customer service could be a hit or miss, but the parking has never been an issue. Book online for better rates.
