I agree with your first sentence but the rest is pure rubbish. Not all protests are riots. And if protests didnt work, we wouldnt have half the liberties in this country we do now. Systemic change can be slow but if you dont try, nothing changes.

We recycle the bags we put produce in at the grocery store, small brown paper bags from shopping, plastic from packaging. It was annoying at first but fine now that we've been doing it awhile.

These guys make great sandwiches, have great crass Jersey attitudes, and the handwritten signs in the shop are incredible.

I just honestly wish the sandwiches were smaller. Like, the photo is probably no bullshit what you’d get, as I’ve had stuff with like a pound of prosciutto on it in the past.

It’s impossible to eat without taking half the shit out of the roll, and then you’re left with just a pile of meat and condiments that you need to buy a roll to turn it into a second rate leftover sandwich.

It is probably an unpopular complaint, but I don’t need a Taliercio’s or Harold’s display of gluttony— just knock a few bucks off the cost of the sandwich and give me something a normal person can eat for lunch.

Nah, police violence and abuse of power is a systemic and nationwide issue. If you don’t want to protest, don’t; but telling people affected by police brutality to not only NOT protest but to support those very organizations is wildly insulting.

Vote and run… aka politics.. and you can run.. and you can vote and change how shit is handled. But protesting just makes good headlines for the left and right to push their narratives and then not much happens unless you got the right people in..

NJ saw the need to change going back to Christi Todd Whitman. That’s when police changes started. It’s also why our issues are much more muted against the national stage.

I use small bags from a company called Doggy Do Good (3-Pack (180-Count) - Small Handle). They are biodegradable. (Not all bags advertised as biodegradable are.) They are a good price and it’s very handy to have them right next to the littler boxes. Amazon sells them or you can buy direct, free shipping over $65, I think.

Safe Town, but there are some sketchy parts. The apartments across the street from the liquor store that used to have a hidden bar behind the back are basically where all the problems come from.

They have had some flooding issues in areas in recent years too to watch out for.

These are great and eco friendly. You might have to use two bags but they’re durable and I’ve never read an issue in the 5+ years I’ve used them. There’s also large sizes available with handles but maybe not in chewy https://www.chewy.com/earth-rated-dog-poop-bags-refill/dp/103048?utm_source=google-product&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=12737551675&utm_content=Earth%20Rated&utm_term=&gbraid=0AAAAADmQ2V0AuZfKKOlOFdJ9Kc6A_5fU7&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI7Mz4je7q_AIVu8mUCR3Z_A8wEAQYASABEgLWp_D_BwE

You don’t get the big brain award for saying “oh see they kill white people too!!” or “see, black cops can kill too!!”

Police departments are historically racist institutions. Police brutality on anyone is unacceptable. Both of these are true. Lick the boot harder.
