Some of the ones that were more "store like," ex Eileen Fisher outlet, had really stringent return policies. They ended up being not that much cheaper, if cheaper at all, than shopping at Macy's during one of its many one day sales and have more liberal return policies.

IIRC water treatment plants are required to send out water test results on a regular basis and it's probably on their website.

If you need more testing or are concerned about your own water then you should get a test kit from a lab. Not a free one, those are usually scams. You could also use water test strips which work okay but it depends on the specific thing you are looking for.

Whole home filtration is generally a waste of water and money. Generally simple fridge filters can handle any taste you don't like. For larger problems under the sink filters are generally fine.

If you have lead pipes or something it's generally a better idea to replace the pipes. With pex tubing it is something that you might be able to do yourself or for pretty cheap.

That I don’t know. I typically use it for evening events. It does have 1500 spaces though, but if it’s too full on a weekday, you can also try the Vince Lombardi P&R on 95 with another 1000 spaces. That one’s similar in its usage and restrictions, only real differences are that the bus schedule is only weekdays, have more limited running hours 6:15a-11:30p, but is marginally cheaper: $9.75 for one car + driver RT, $4 for additional passenger RT.

Go a couple times on different days and you’ll quickly get the feel for how full it is usually.

You would need to arrange it ahead of time, but International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF) in Hazlet, NJ did tours. I do not know how easy it is to arrange post-covid. They have a gorgeous greenhouse that is awesome and full of incredibly talented scientists. They make artificial flavors for foods/medicines and fragrances for basically everything.

Completely fair and valid points. I originally attached images but it said this group didn’t allow them. Probably user error. Personally I believe it is best that the police handle the “lookout” component since they have the vehicle, name, and I’m sure tracking of the accused. However I was thinking along the terms of how I rarely pay attention in the back seat of a car service vehicle. I putz on my phone and keep my head down. Perhaps we’d all be better off if we were a little less trusting and a little more cautious. And if that can help one person in the future I’ll gladly take all the negative comments and BS from keyboard warriors.

Well, what are you trying to share?

If it is to be on the lookout for a rapist, then having the description of the rapist would be important.

Beyond that, it just feels like a random story meant to instill fear rather than do anything. At least for Uber, you can call for help in the app or just call 911 if shit is going sideways like this.

And again, just to be clear here… in my other comments I am not trying to say that ALL Uber and Lyft drivers are horrible humans. Majority of them are honest hard working folks trying to make ends meet in our brutal corrupted economic system in this country. And they also are victims of this horrible heartless gig economy where only the millionaires and billionaires who run the industry prosper. Doordash and the like are just as awful to the workers.

The entire ride share industry needs to be abolished. I’m not holding my breath on that ever happening.

Clarins in Orangeburg NY has a yearly Warehouse Sale that is the real thing. It's cosmetics, not clothes though.
