Just be aware, the Marriott shuttle can be a little flakey. I drive Uber sometimes in the evenings, and on multiple occasions have gotten rides from the terminals to the Marriott and the riders tell me they had been waiting over 30 minutes for the shuttle.
That said, with a 2200 arrival, some of the off airport hotels (specifically the Wyndham Garden off the top of my head), will have already stopped their shuttle service for the night.

My wife who's been making her own yeast and pizza dough honestly has been killing in this past few months with her pizza.
I'd recommend " Mary's " since hers has been next level. Can't lie
Our kids, their friends, our friends who's visited all have tried and loves it as well.
Sorry I know my response doesn't not assist you at all regarding your parents unless they want to travel all the way up to NNJ 🙂

I second the Marriott. Shuttle runs for free to the hotel. Spend the night, grab your car in the morning.
Long Branch has 1 of 2 Meaderies in the state. It’s nice to check out. But otherwise the shore is dead this time of year.
Edit: “this time of year” referring to off season. Season usually meaning Memorial Day weekend forward to Labor Day.

My vote in that area is Millie’s Meatballs in Morristown. They have coal fired and wood fired pizzas. It’s worth the trip.

With regard to his reviews, I don’t take his word as gospel but it’s a relatively consistent barometer in my opinion, especially when you’ve got a couple of the same spots under your belt. I use it for the community ratings as well.

Otoh, I've used Lyft & Uber on multiple occasions and would recommend them over a taxi every day of the week. Anywhere you are, you should be aware of your surroundings

I did not. Was just trying to zip around him as he was obviously driving very sketchily. Hunched over peering through the gap between hood and dash.

Car theft has been an issue county-wide in Bergen, not carjackings. New Milford is not on or near the top of the case theft list.

Very safe town, one of the safest in the county/state. Near a lot of stuff and the city and a nice, quiet place to live.

Reply to Here’s how to get $180K in student loans paid off under new N.J. program for mental health jobs by greenhousecrtv
I love this idea as so many in the field (social workers, non-profit staff) make very little money. Having some/all of their loans forgiven should lift quite the burden. Now, take care of educators next (because the PSLF program is completely fucked).
