My Google maps route planning absolutely did not say that, it seemed very doable, like 30 minutes each way, hence why I asked for advice here

It's a little in the weeds to explain, but I'm about to become an RN and will be licensed in Texas. Texas nursing licenses transfer automatically to NJ and 27 other US states, but NY is not one of them. I can become a nurse in NYC by attaining residency, which will take a year. Most NYC hospitals won't even consider applications from out of state new nurses.
I plan on working in NYC long term and my BF's job is in NYC, but for my first year or so I think it makes the most sense to commute.

12 hour shift at hospital + sleep but I'll definitely tell my patients i need to respond to some reddit comments and they'll have to wait next time.

I'm doing a nursing residency and my license will transfer to NJ immediately but not to NYC. I'm planning on completing my residency and applying for a license by endorsement down the road. Thanks for the advice, that's helpful.

God damned Danes, coming over here taking our jobs! Next thing you know they'll be invading with their longships, taking over territory, and establishing the five boroughs

It’s funny to listen to conservatives regurgitate whatever disinformation is said about wind turbines .. it’s generally from politicians who occupy seats of government they claim not to trust. But they will repeat it anyway

I don’t get how sonar would kill a whale. Are they saying that it’s disruptive to their ability to tell where they’re going and they beach themselves? Or are they claiming it’s directly killing them and then they wash up?

Actually it has been more blunt force trauma on the last four or five that have washed ashore..
Big container ship plows through a pod hits a few, they catch the tide in.

Reply to Issues with Frontier flight landing at Trenton? by mdnla
This happened once while my husband and I were long distance dating - he flew to see me and his flight was diverted to another airport an hour away due to fog. He was not flying frontier. I know it’s a pain in the ass, but it does happen when they can’t land in the fog. I was able to go get him, but I know a lot of people on the flight struggled to get transportation back to the correct airport. Sorry it happened to you, that’s frustrating!

The worst part is that turbines 15 miles offshore will hardly even be visible https://www.delaware-surf-fishing.com/this-is-what-the-wind-farms-will-look-like-from-the-delaware-beaches/

More dead whales and dolphin. Probably dead migratory birds too. Also if people think they are going to cut our electric bills in half, they are delusional. They will line their pockets before they pass any money on to us.
