Check out South Boundbrook. Might be a little further than 40 min outside of the City, but a coworker of mine found a nice updated 1 bedroom apt for $1500. No laundry facilities though.

That's amazing. Everything in the house is on natural gas?

Look into Mill Run Apartments in Union. Their website indicates there is a small (540 as ft) 1 br apt available for $1745. Mill Run has a pretty big footprint; lots of small buildings. Looks well-maintained.

Christie on the beach would have made this post perfect.

The only problem is when I'm doing 68 with the cruise on, come up behind Mr yellow who is scrolling instagram and has slowed to 60, go to pass and Mr yellow suddenly realizes how slow he's going and speeds up to 68. Now here I am looking like an asshole riding in the left lane at the same speed as Mr yellow, when in reality I'm just maintaining my speed. Then I speed up to 72 because I see Mr green coming up behind me and what do you think Mr yellow does? People who speed up when you try to pass are human garbage.

It’s not yellows job to inconvenience themselves to fix other drivers inability to follow laws.

It was installed in 2017, so it's possible to help the costs of heating a home. I love it.Also, not everyone in NJ lives in suburbia or a city, there are still some of us country folk left.

Most homes don’t have a wood burning stove anymore.

Around $200 a month for a 1,400 sq house. PSE&G...gas runs the water heater, range/oven and the furnace. Our heat doesn't actually run a lot because we use our wood burning stove mostly when home. Heat is set at 66 and only runs when sleeping. We have an older home from the 1950's so it's a little drafty.

Yeah, you’d be much better off looking at places like Jersey City, Hoboken etc. You’ll be closer to Manhattan from those places than in Queens anyway.
