I go to this school… the staff have always seemed to neglect our problems or go about it in the wrong way. My sisters have gone here too, and experienced the same things me and the students there now have. They haven’t changed their ways for years, and it took someone to die for them to finally do something. If they listened to Adriana and didn’t suspend her she could still be here. I don’t understand why they suspend the victim as well, she didn’t even fight back…

The solution is buy whole single family blocks and knock them all down and build 5 story density 2-3 bedroom apartments. Do that till rent prices are 1000 average.

But that will never happen. A maybe possible solution is take single family homes and make them into double family. That could double the housing stock of an area within 6 to 10 months.

Genuine curiosity here: so many people seem to think landlords are evil and predatory because they charge more in rent than they pay for mortgage/taxes/upkeep etc. Many people also either don’t want or can’t afford to buy, between down payments, desire not to be locked in to one place , whatever.

So, if you don’t want to or can’t afford to save for a down payment and buy, who is it that is supposed to be renting you a place to live, if landlording is evil?

Not trying to vilify or troll, I legit want to know who you think should be risking their capital and renting people houses?

There are many plunges throughout the state. There are a few popular ones on 1/1 including AC and Coney Island. This is the Special Olympics Polar Plunge which is the most popular, they raised over $2.5M for SO, and was the largest plunge in the state with over 7,500 people!

i'm going to go with a bit over 4 inches.

I'm saying that because anything more than that, particularly overnight, is a pain in the ass to shovel once the plows have their way and swamp the end of my driveway and sidewalk, and not 10 minutes ago my wife asked me if i was going to get the snow blower ready, and i said, "No, i don't think its worth it"

This also means that if we do get over 5 or 6 inches, the rest of march will hinge on if i decide, "Fine, i'll get the snow blower ready" (in which case no more snow) or substantial dumps at every threat if i don't get it ready.
