Not in your requested locations, but Optometric Arts in the Harborside building in Jersey City did an excellent job with my -14.00, progressive lenses. My bf also just went to them and is very happy with his glasses, both a new pair and the lenses they put in an old pair of frames.

They are not cheap, but unfortunately, my lenses never are.

If this assault was the first time she was mistreated by these kids, then you're right. But that is essentially never how it happens.

School can expel kids who don't stop torturing kids. They can contact child services and try to figure out why the bullies are lashing out so much, and whether intervention is needed there. School can confiscate phones during the day so that at least on school premises, at least the victim won't have to worry about being recorded.

But the most urgent thing is to separate bullies from their victims long term, hopefully by inconveniencing the bullies, not the victims, in that process. Clearly the school failed at that

It is very easy to commute to NYC and Philly from many surrounding suburbs, some of which are older main street type towns with shopping and food and where you could easily get away without a car. The suburbs are a whole different story. You would mostly need a car to do things. So the answer is there is a lot of mass transit and more coming, but it doesn't get you everywhere very easily.

New Jersey has public transit, but not statewide. Mostly limited to getting to and from NYC, NYC to Shore Points, Philly from some places in Southern New Jersey.

Don't move to Somerset County, Hunterdon County, Morris County, Warren County, Sussex County, Most of Passaic County, Western portions of Union County next to Somerset County. Not too sure about anything south of Princeton but the less population, the less transit. The more farms, the less transit are pretty good rules of thumb.

Where there are county systems, some are decent, most aren't. All have big limitations in terms of when they run. You can't use Somerset's for work because it doesn't run on any type of holiday.

Hunterdon's is far better than Somerset's, but is still limited, doesn't run on Sundays. Somerset concentratres on getting people to and from Dialysis, really.

Good luck! I moved away from there because of traffic and it was just getting way too expensive. A tiny cape cod I used to live in Fair Lawn sold for close to $600k at the end of last year. House was a dump in my opinion...so sad. Had so many issues. I have relatives who paid 75k for a cape there in the 80's. It's ridiculous!

I will also disagree. When we were bullied as kids, it usually ended in the school yard. With social media today, kids can get bullied 24/7 and some of those things can live online forever, as was the case here. In a lot of ways, things are much worse. Add to that, schools are powerless to address things that happen outside of school and limited in how they address things that happen in school.

I understand that you’ve not had good experiences with big chains - does that include Costco? They have a money-back guarantee, so it may be worth a try?

Absolutely you should. The sooner the better. Like right now. Your car is damaged and that company has insurance, you shouldn't pay for that. Even if you can find someone to clean it that smell is going to linger for a long time! Call the police non emergency number in the town that it happened and they can advise the easiest way to file a report. If they can give you the information for the company you can contact them directly. If not you can call your insurance company and file a claim and they will let you know what to do and mediate with the trucking company. It shouldn't cost you anything even if you have a deductible because it's the other parties responsibility, it's always better to avoid going through insurance so try working with the company first. Also, time is of the essence here because once that stink sets in you won't get rid of it. Try calling Serve Pro or some other company that cleans up crime scenes, dead bodies, ect. A car wash isn't going to do it. I'm really sorry for you! This has to be the worst Monday of all Mondays! Good luck!
