It looks like you shared an AMP link. These should load faster, but AMP is controversial because of concerns over privacy and the Open Web.

Maybe check out the canonical page instead: https://www.fox21news.com/news/white-mom-accused-of-trafficking-biracial-daughter-stop-and-think-before-you-call-the-police/

If your kids look like you, no problem. If your kids are biracial you should have something on you proving your relationship. There are many documented instances where airline employees created problems. I wonder if this is the same dude I saw piss himself at the Tropicana. My friend and I were waiting outside a restaurant for our other friends when this dude in ratty grey sweatpants wandered off the casino floor, then just came to a stop in the middle of the walkway, stared into space, and let loose.

Unfortunately you are stuck between a rock and a hard place. You don’t want him to be scammed because you care about him. But kicking him out could quickly lead to homelessness.

He may be undiagnosed or under diagnosed. I would make an appointment with a geriatric doctor and maybe a neurologist. Also a psychologist.

Walking on boardwalk with a few friends at 2am (don’t suggest this) a homeless man let’s go of his Pitbull who’s on a leash God knows why. The Pitbull who I’d say is 70 pounds runs straight at us and my friends and I split sides and the Pitbull runs straight through us. The homeless guy bikes past us and grabs the dog and acts like nothing happened. We weren’t too sober so we somewhat ran away.

Living without a car doesn’t mean just having one bus route in town if your office building is off a highway, or if you need to take a long bus ride or cross dangerous intersections for every grocery or laundry haul

While we do have better transit than most states, most of NJ still isn’t very livable without a car, at least compared to just living in a decent neighborhood in a dense major city

Their best bet is probably looking in Hudson county first since it’s the highest density and has better walkability in most parts

You could call Adult Protective Services like someone else suggested. It's hard though to get private placements when someone starts getting combative. Also if you have concerns about him driving you can make a report to the Motor Vehicle Commission medical review and they will evaluate whether he should still be driving.

There are very few if any nursing homes in NJ that accept Medicaid. And those that do, have a waiting list longer than most people alive. And if you find one that accepts everyone on Medicaid (state facility), it will be poorly run and basically an adult prison. Bugs, bed sores, screaming souls. That type of environment.

Average run of the mill nursing home in NJ is $8-10k/month out of pocket. People sell their homes and use that for their care. If you are on a life plan, when your money runs out they will allow you to stay. Typically you’ve spent $300k-$1M before then.

Aging in home is expensive too. A home health aide runs about 10k a month for a live in caregiver. $20k a month if you are getting up in the middle of the night.

NJ is tough because even if you live somewhere with a frequent train line, you won't necessarily be able to walk/cycle to a grocery store, and there's no local bus to take you around town. Or you live somewhere cute and walkable , but the weekend train only runs every 2 hours. You have to decide what's manageable for you and start there.

I rented a room in the Tropicana Hotel for a real estate convention. I was relaxing on the bed when I noticed a huge cockroach just casually crawling up the wall. This MF was huge. Three inches at least. Called the front desk. They sent a security guy for some reason. He just said “Ohh shit”. Told me to pack up and took me to a much nicer room on the higher floor.
