The town has severe issues. It has a ton of potential imo but it’s being squandered. Unfortunately a large portion of the voting populations is focused on returning to “the good old days” of SR without acknowledging the fact that times have changed, demographics have changed and you can’t recreate the past. People vote against their own interests and keep electing the same do-nothings in hopes that the town will become the second coming of Mayberry. Meanwhile the infrastructure is failing, the schools are a mess, and the downtown is an embarrassment. I admire your motivation to do something about it though and I hope you have more success than others have.

I've never seen anyone pulled over for that.
I WISH some of the idiots on Rt 1 this morning had cleared their roofs.
But it was nice to be able to use my wipers when the snow flew off and hit my windshield.

So I hope that the 5 cars I passed on the right then cut off so that they had to slam on their brakes causing some of the snow to fall forward onto THEIR windshield appreciated the reciprocity.

I've heard similar stories from a person whose "old family manse" (NOT) is in that town. I think many small NJ towns are overdue for a legal shake-up. Double dipping seems to be the norm in places -- like when a certain Lt. Gov. employed a retired sheriff (IITC) and modified his job title so he could double-dip (get a salary while retaining his pension).

AFAIK, there's no legal requirement. However I suggest some family photos (maybe with dates visible) to show that you're together. Better yet, include friends and neighbors in the photos so they can confirm your relationship.

This probably won't be an issue unless parents and kids look different. I think it was in Texas a few years back that a white grandfather was handcuffed when he was taking a walk with his "Black" (biracial or adopted -- I don't recall) grandkid. Gross overreaction by the cops.

I can tell you from experience, when I had BCBS Omnia Bronze through the marketplace they did cover blood tests without anything out of my pocket. They also paid toward doctors visits, including specialists, and I also did not pay for ultrasounds. My deductible was high, so I didn’t meet it, but I never paid for basic testing.
