Two old hotels on fire on the same night back when gambling was first made legal. (How EVER could that happen?) My uncle was Chief of AC FD and we were visiting from North Jersey. It was pretty late, and we drove down that way from Absecon after the call came across on the emergency transmitter he had set up in their kitchen. Never have seen anything like that anywhere.

Reminds me of that almost 100 year old pipe that broke in middle of Manhattan that no one knew about.

What do you mean by trajectory, OP? I lived in Sparta as a kid, and moved back 5 years ago. Sure, there is more traffic and there are more stores and even some 'affordable housing' now. But, the overall character has been preserved; it's still a wonderful place to live, surrounded by natural beauty and interesting architecture, with endless opportunities for recreation.

Yeah, if you took out a mortgage right now sure. Not if you took one out or refinanced in the last two years. Do you think maintenance and mortgage isn't added to what renter's pay plus more?

That’s very strange to me, when I joined BCBS I wasn’t even given the option to not accept omnia, and most therapists I know who take BCBS accept omnia plans as well. I have several clients with marketplace plans.
Edit to add: omnia is a type of plan through horizon BCBS, and it’s also not exclusive to the markets place. Lots of employers offer omnia plans in nj.

Horizon BCBS is actually considered OMNIA via marketplace. I started looking on Psychology Today and many therapists say they don't accept OMNIA.
Are people using marketplace insurance plans not served by therapists?

Nice! There was and still is a lot of cool buildings in Wildwood. We always stayed at the Bonanza, which, unfortunately, has been bulldozed and turned into condominiums. I will always remember the woody smell of the lobby, and the little banjo clock on the wall....

Seriously, that would be such a nice reduction versus what I’m paying now.
And the thing is I don’t live in a super high-cost house, or even that well-off a neighborhood. I bought a house I could afford in a nice area with good schools for a family, and I’m paying a lot for it.
If incorporating my doughnut hole sized town into the doughnut we already share a school system with means lower taxes, let’s get merging.

Add a mortgage to the taxes.. you easily double, probably triple and possibly quadruple that in NJ.. now add maintenance
