Another thing you can do before it freezes is to move the car a couple of feet back and forth while braking hard. The force should knock a good chunk of it off before you get on the road. Also use a push broom from the back and push forward. My car is annoying because I'm rather short, and there are these goddamned roof-rails on my car that prevent me from pushing off the sides.

Still live at home, my partner moved in so now its my parents and the two of us (and bonus child on the weekends), I'm 39 my partner is 45. It's actually awesome because we all share expenses and my partner and I can help my parents as they get older (they are in their 70s) so they don't have to end up in a nursing home (which they couldn't afford anyway)

It finally got approved and then, nah, let's not put money into it for more years.

Every time someone mentions the Bypass, all I think about is the Township's Planning Game" where they asked people to participate, when I say participate it was intended to make them feel like they were included, in the planning.

i'm honestly not a major hard roll fan, so i always opt for a bagel. plain or jalepeno usually. the place i like puts too much salt in their everything mix for me to enjoy it. gets too salty between the taylor ham, added salt, and cheese plus the coating on the bagel itself.

How do we create a group to start actually organizing and gaining support for municipal merging in order to cut redundant administrative costs? I'm down to take the initiative to make a discord to get things started before we discover our objectives and goal and vote for actual leadership.

I made a discord server - https://discord.gg/zAyzutc5 Pop in if you're interested in advocating for this. Gonna need people for creating graphics and informational postings, and also people to do the research on the benefits of merging municipalities. We don't need towns that are barely a square mile paying out millions of dollars into the salaries of administrators, police chiefs, and school supervisors when an entire grade is 12 students.

I believe this could be a bipartisan issue that we can all get behind to help make our municipalities more efficient and less wasteful in tax spending. I only ask those that join be polite and respectful towards all people and stay focused on the topic. First steps would be to start raising awareness and trying to get more people on board to lighten the workload of volunteers.

does this include pay? because imo the biggest concern is that new educators arent entering the field and young educators are leaving the field because the pay is atrocious with the amount of shit that teachers put up with.

Hillsborough to pseudo Princeton (areas that have the zip but aren't even in the same county) went from 15 mins when my sister did it in 1988 to 1 hour 15 minutes when I did it in the late 00s. It's accrued development and traffic.

County and backroads were always faster than 206 for me, but still about 50 minutes total commute. Have a friend working at Princeton U and living in Bridgewater, the Bypass helps a bit since it shaves off 15-20 mins in rush hour, but direct routes always get the most traffic.

You gotta learn to do the county road boogie and avoid all possible times when school buses will mess with your commute. But unfortunately, people find those, too. RIP Dukes Parkway West/Auten Road in Hillsborough.

Just did some quick googling- NJ is number 1 in the US for education, no. 2 is Massachusetts with an average prop tax of $5,600. 3 is Florida with an average prop tax of $1752. Again just some quick googling and I’m not sure how accurate it all is but if it is right then maybe the education isn’t the justification we think it is.

If it means that the teachers have all the supplies, support and benefits they need/deserve to be excellent educators than why would I resent this simple solidarity, happy teachers bring out the most in their students!
