Reply to The NJCLASS/HESAA Loan system needs to be destroyed. Never get a loan from them. by BeamStop23
This is only tangentially related, but I can't find it anywhere and figure there are some people using NJCLASS here.
Does anyone know how to view your full loan details on the HESAA/NJCLASS site? Stuff like the term, date the loan started, stuff like that. All I can find is the interest rates and balance info.

Thank you! They're pretty. I get purple and yellow crocuses in early spring.

People aren’t going to jail with possession of legal weed. You most definitely will go to jail if you have some that isn’t regulated. Now are the cops really cracking down on that, I have no clue.

If you can't be bothered to clean off your car, get one of those snow tarps.
Laziness doesn't mean you get to be an asshole.

I don't know the name of these flowers but they always pop up in early spring on the side of my house so I was surpised to see them this early especially in the snow.

My town pays a few million dollars to bus kids to private schools when the town is so small they don’t offer bussing to public school kids. I believe Christie passed that law but don’t quote me in that.

Yep that's the typical ignorant response. Just build high density housing everywhere you look.... like New Jersey already is in full of high density housing, cities and warehouses. Like we don't clear cut enough forest s. And the more high density housing you build the more schools you need the more taxes go up. It makes my eyes bleed reading ignorant s*** like that in a post about why our taxes so high... Oh because of schools. Why not have the whole damn state look like one big Walmart parking lot with every single bit of green space annihilated for high density housing.

If you think universities aren’t being run in the same way businesses are then you haven’t been paying attention to what’s going on in higher education in this country.

I couldn’t find info on this but, are the medical schools linked to Rutgers RWJMS and NJMS faculty also subject to this strike?

I saw someone do a hard stop with 6 inches of snow on their roof, the snow fell down on their windshield and they couldn't see. Luckily this happened in a local road (30 mph speed limit), had it been on a highway it would have been an immediate accident.

There has been a lot of debate about the Young Forest Initiative which I think is what you are referring to. It is far from accepted science though. Michael Kellet actually did some research on the principles of the Young Forest Initiative and wrote a peer reviewed paper on the subject. It is his opinion that it is not helpful to cut down forest to create habitat. He presented some of the results from his paper here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCC2_ZBRKUg

Not arguing that there will be money made but let us not overlook the fact that these cuts also allow for regeneration of old growth forests which, in turn, invites native flora & fauna species to reclaim areas taken over by invasive species. It allows the land to regenerate much like it would have before we began disallowing forestry such as this. “Back in the day” natural disasters like fires, flooding, etc may have wiped land clean but the land did regenerate naturally.
This is a complex debate that deserves more scrutiny by people making their own decisions after being properly educated. We need to listen to each other and learn together. The old growth forest looks very pretty with all those big beautiful oaks, maples, etc but is that the only sign of a healthy forests??
Trust me, I’m not here to argue and insult other people, just presenting a very high level overview of another thought process.
