Stay safe!! I have several friends in the LBPD. They are great!! I am sure they will catch them in no time. I live a few blocks away and my cousins house is across the street. We have heard no sirens or anything. A friend of mine messaged me about it a little while after it started. Praying for everyone on campus and everyone in LBPD responding to this situation.

I threw a bachelor party in nyc. We stayed at a hotel in the east village. Lots of really cool bars and restaurants in that area. Of course it’s dependent on the crowd you’re looking to entertain but personally a night out in NYC is infinitely better than AC.

Second this. Sounds like it'll be a bit of an awkward mix of people who aren't all that close, so AC seems like a bad idea to me. Not everybody is going to be on the same page about gambling, partying, strip club, etc and because nobody's going to want to speak up in a group they don't know well they'll just keep quiet and have an iffy time. But most people can get behind a really nice dinner and some quality hang time in a cool location. Bonus is everybody will have a chance to chat and get to know each other in that type of setting which will make everybody have more fun at the wedding.

Pool at Harrah's on a Saturday is 80° inside and a good spot to chill all day in the winter/spring. Go down Friday, nice dinner, drink and pool all day Saturday, then dinner and casino.

I hope the groom goes to the bachelor party… depending on the time there are plenty of places you can go.. honestly just ask him what kind of theme he is looking for… maybe he wants to go to PA in a cabin… we are driving distances to multiple locations and also it’s extremely cheap to fly to some places… I would also talk with the other 8 people to see what they can afford so everyone can go…..

Might be unpopular opinion: but 99% of people that elect to do a higher end (non trashy AC pound drinks and gamble) bachelor party don’t regret it.

Nice hotel or like a lodge somewhere. Focus on good quality dinner and good quality drinks.

If he doesn’t really have friends it’s better to elevate the experience. My friend from college was this way. I was his only friend pretty much except like 1 person he worked with kind of.

We got a nice Airbnb in the Catskills and then I found a nice farm-to-table restaurant and we had excellent liquor with great food. Went on a small / easy 2 mile hike to a summit with a sweet view the next morning. Spent time cooking big egg and steak breakfast as well, just talking and enjoying the change of scenery.

If adamant about staying in NJ you could prob find something similar in Sussex or Warren County. Or the Catskills are also closer than you think.

Unless this dude just loves light beer, drugs, and strippers in which case I’m sure it’ll be easy to figure out.

The car has to be in a ready state to be able to pass. If you've cleared a code, it won't be ready until you complete a drive cycle. A scanner would tell you if the car is ready or not ready.

As for how to complete a drive cycle, that varies by manufacturer but generally you need to drive some number of miles at various speeds including highways speeds, stop and go, etc.
