Yes, AC as well. But we were talking about beaches owned by the state parks.

it hasn’t been majority jewish since the 4th century when constantine the roman emperor embraced christianity. by the 5th century, the jewish population was 10-15%. even when palestine was partitioned in 1947, after numerous aliyahs and emigration under the ottomans and the british, the jewish population was around 30%.
the people that have lived there over the millennia are now arab. if you wanna apply your logic and give people back the lands that they lived in around 2000 years ago, all white people should go back to europe. both north and south america have been more recently settled by europeans compared to how long there hasn’t been a jewish majority in palestine.
take england for example, it was conquered by the danes in the 11th century (cnut defeated aethelred the unready and ultimately became king of england, norway and denmark). should we do genetics testing on every englishman and send back anybody with scandinavian dna? dont forget the normans who invaded and conquered england in the 12th century (william the conqueror defeated harold ii). the same goes for every country in the world. the aryans migrated to india around 2000 BC from what is now Iran and central asia, the original natives were dark skinned. should every light skinned indian (which is a lot of northern india) be sent back to iran? why this special treatment for israel?

Hugs for Brady helps kids in NJ with cancer. Ran by a passionate lady who unfortunately lost her son Brady. They are awesome.

They are protesting overhauls of the government that make the executive vastly stronger for no other purpose than to prevent Bibi from being held accountable for corruption.

You need to learn what constitutes "fascism" if you honestly believe that. The conservatives in Israel are toying with fascism right now but at no point have they ever had a fascist government.

Never said anyone has to give up land....just saying that Palestinians are "natives" is a dumb argument. The situation is complex and people like the OP do it no favors by trying to paint it in black and white

It also depends if you’re driving to the airport & parking your car. If you’re parking in long term parking or parking off-airport you have to give yourself an addition 30 to 45 minutes just for that.

I worked at the Rickel on 17 north in the ‘70s and it was my job to tie paneling onto the roofs of cars. No one else knew knots.
One customer bought 20 fifty pound bags of Sakrete concrete mix and tried loading it into his Gremlin.

Monmouth beach was my go to. Just parked at the little lighthouse and enjoyed a free beach. I just never understood and still don’t, why there aren’t more free beaches. Especially in ocean county. Not a single one here

Franks brings back memories. I grew up in Holmdel and there was once a Frank’s Garden Center on the northbound side of Rt35 in nearby Hazlet. It was closed and subsequently abandoned lot for as long as I can remember: mid/late 80s through maybe the late 00s? I think it’s a Lidl now.

So glad to see this. I wish we saw more American Jews speaking out and protesting Israel and its policies. I am thinking East Hill Synagogue must be quite a conservative congregation.

This is my argument!!! Every other state with a shore, has free beaches. That are maintained with lifeguards!!!
So people rallying behind beach taxes and why it’s necessary to keep them clean or have a lifeguard. Are you all brain dead? Seriously. Go visit California or Florida beaches and start demanding the people be taxed to enjoy the natural resources and just see how people react
It’s absolutely absurd our beaches aren’t free. And seaside is constantly trashed all summer despite being “maintained and cleaned.”
So the argument completely falls flat
Beaches should absolutely be free

The region was majority Jewish before Palestinians existed.
How do you choose who has a right to the land?

Are state parks free this year though? If I go to island beach state park for example I can almost guarantee I have to pay a fee. Even as a local.
My husband and I were just discussing how IF you participate in a beach clean up than you SHOULD be given a beach pass for the season. Hey thanks for cleaning up the beach for free, here’s incentive to do it again. Carry in and out and leave no trace behind. Ya know?
A pipe dream I’m aware. God forbid our beaches be free. Yet countless other states along the shore have entirely free beaches throughout the state
Explain it to me like I’m 5

I think the clean up in exchange for a pass is a great idea & way to get more people invested in their own communities!!
