It’s been like that for awhile now, same with Somerset St.

Dee & Dee, Moshell’s, etc are all a thing of the past. I’ve been gone for a few years now and Plfd looks so different. I’m not sure if the plaza is even still open.

Drive down South Ave from Richmond to Terrill and look how different it is too. Same with Grant and S. 2nd. I remember that area being really run down especially around MoonFace. I look at home prices if I ever want to go back and it’s so unaffordable now.

The DNA Doe Project doesn't take on cases where the victim is a child or baby. I believe it's because as a group of citizen volunteers, it can be a bit precarious to work on child cases since once you identify a child, you are also identifying the parents who are statistically most likely to be responsible for the death. Other agencies are taking on Baby Does and child Does though, I assume Othram would be interested in this.

A lot of town downtowns are being revitalized by Latino communities, it's so great. I'm in Dover often to catch the train and I find it so difficult to choose a place to eat beforehand, there are so many fantastic restaurants and bakeries right near the station.

The low asking prices are very frustrating! But after a few failed offers, I think we’re starting to get a better idea of what a house will actually sell for and not getting caught up on the asking price. Wishing you and your mom the best of luck in your process! Hopefully we’ll both have some luck soon! 🤞🏽

I completely understand this. Last fall we were doing the same thing, owned a townhouse in Nutley and wanted to move to Livingston. Found a place but, during attorney review someone came and blew our offer away. We found another place in Verona, but the inspection came back with too many issues. Ended up going to Wayne, got outbid on one place, made an offer on another, but the buyer of the higher offer on the first place backed out and we ended up increasing our offer to get it.

It's a tough, weird market. Emotionally don't get attached to any one place, and keep looking and making offers even when you've currently made an offer or two.
