Reply to Follow-up: Does the Atlantic City boardwalk have enough to entertain a group of 14 year olds for 2-3 hours? Just wanting some beach shops, an arcade, ferris wheel, go-karts, etc. Closer and cheaper than Wildwood, not sure if there's a noticeable difference for that brief of a visit by garbageeater
Also, for the people that argue how nice it is that Atlantic City does not have to have a beach tag, how many people do you really think would buy the beach tag instead of going to nicer neighboring beaches

I can't believe they're investing money in multiple spinoffs. The last season had some pretty bad viewership ratings, seems like a risky choice.

As a 34-year-old, I know of about six people who were either sexually assaulted or raped in ac between the ages of 13 and 17. We used to go there. Two were males the rest female.. if you wonder slightly away from the boardwalk( about 100 ft), you see all beggars and junkies. Have an adult stay present. Maybe check out the lucky snake if you have to go to ac. Bad enough that they try to sell you legit drugs on the boardwalk and I’m not talking about just weed

Real people live in vans down by the river, doesn't make it a good idea for a field trip

Yes Atlantic City has in the showboat the biggest arcade for kids ! It call the lucky snake! Also it a strong police presence on the board walk . Several blocks away from the casino. It’s bad, but on the boardwalk it very safe.

Yes. However. Due to the nature of that area, I would not leave my kids alone there at 14. If you’re looking to drop the kids off, I would recommend Ocean City.

Yes!! The largest arcade on the East Coast is now at the old Showboat. Awesome spot for kids... can easily spend 3 hours there.

Wow!!! I've enjoyed your pictures and comments about the area. I just came in from some garden work and the deer helpfully removed all the hyacinth. I'm glad no bears...yet.

Is it day time? Are they trustworthy and generally aware of their surroundings? Will they be carrying huge wads of cash? How many in a group? 2-3 hours if fine imo.... this sub is the biggest bunch of pearl clutchers i've ever seen in my life. Atlantic City is a shithole , not a fuckin warzone..
