I go to Baltimore, MD from Newark once a month. It's pretty easy, one train and takes about 3 hours. Wilmington, DE is on the way. I would suggest getting 1st class tickets, it's much nicer. The train is reliable and has priority over NJ Transit, etc on the tracks (they share the same track lines).

Get pet insurance, we didn't and our dog has needed hip dysplasia surgery and ended up getting an auotimmune disorder that cost us $6000 for three days in the animal hospital.

Oh, and pick a good rescue. We used Castle of Dreams in central jersey - they rescue animals from kill shelters in the south. If you're looking for a specific kind of dog, you can tell them and they can call you when they see one.

We also used a dog trainer who came to our house, I think it was The Social Dog? She was affordable and very helpful.

oh, and get a good harness - we use a freedom harness and our dog LOVES it, when we grab the harness he knows he is either going for a walk or going to the vet (and he loves the vet because he gets to meet a lot of people)

I actually do care, sorry. And for what it’s worth I don’t like or dislike you. Don’t fucking know you. This is reddit. I’m just saying that fat jokes are not really the kind that transcend the boundaries of political discourse.

Still, even if he has declined in popularity, he ran in a very unusual Republican primary, But things change in politics very rapidly. Relatively speaking Christie’s crimes are not he kind that a general electorate would give a fuck about. He pivoted to the center hard after he got out of the Trump campaign, and I could imagine him rebranding nationally.

And I’m not saying this because I like him, he has one of the most ridiculous weed platforms in the entire country. This dude’s criminal justice record is bonkers in my opinion. Still, I find the fat jokes pretty tasteless, and something that people would recoil if said in any other context.

You could see who's playing at the Stone Pony if you're into music. The Asbury Festhalle & Biergarten often has live local music as well. Lots of good food and drink options if you're gluttonous like myself.
